Vinny D'Onofrio killed it again as Kingpin. I fully understand why he's so reluctant to take on such dark roles like this. A great chess match all season.

Up to Episode 6. Its hilarious how much better this is than all other shows. Episode 4 and 6 were amazing. Its the characters that what sets this show apart mainly. Daredevil, Kingpin and Bullseye are all so brilliantly written and acted.

Yeah. it is not about pace or fight scenes or surprises. you have all of those in Daredevil but what makes it better is the characters and dialogue. every character is important. the atmosphere takes you in. when you care about all characters and do not want to miss anything that's when you know the show is doing it right.

Btw THAT prison scene is a 11 minute ONE shot Ridiculously good.

I even thought Karen was great this season compared to last two.

Not a fan of how we had an ENTIRE episode dedicated to her backstory. Was quite uninteresting and predictable.

I legit thought she was going to die because of how much time that episode took to dive into her backstory. You usually only get those types of flashback episodes when it's time for you to get killed off.

But then I remembered I'm not watching TWD.

Same lol. But she is too big to kill at this point.

Funny how all the netflix shows got rid of the 'snap' by having their seasons before it so when the next season (JJ S3 and DD S4) comes out, it won't matter since it will be fixed.

Shame though since it would add another layer to these shows.

And Disney apparently have no plans for any of the characters from that mini-verse either. A brutal decision honestly.

Maybe. They can always water down the brutality and blood while keeping the fight scenes. It's always been a pretty soft TV-MA show anyway. All of the Defender shows have been.

My gut says we're probably not going to see a live action version of this character for years to come.

Very forgettable show, the biggest weakness with the show is Daredevil himself. The show turned one of my favorite superhero into a absolute weakling. From a physical standpoint the actor that plays Daredevil is too short and small to imitate the superhero. He gets his ass kicked more than any superhero i have ever seen, not only by bosses but greatly from the average criminal on the street.

Also the justification for not killing by Daredevil, it basically reduces to a selfish reason. Toward the end of the season he doesn't believe in in law or justice. He is not prevented from a moral standpoint, because he had no issues with aiding agent Nadeem killing others. Foggy and Page want to prevent DD from killing so he doesn't have blood on hand and not changed from it. The same way Karen is plagued by the death of Wilson Fisk assistant in Season 1.

And the deal with Fisk toward the end is such freaking cop out to prevent what must be done.
