Amazing how Higuain got so much criticism for his WC final miss while Messi's has been swept under the rug. El Pibe de Oro wouldn't have bottled it.

Messi didn't flop at CA. He set up an open net for Higgy in the 90th min at 0-0 and perfectly executed his penal in the penalty shoot out. I feel like there's being asked too much of Messi.

Scoring a one on one goal against Neuer like he does week in week in week out at Barcelona is not too much too ask. I agree though that he is no Maradona so people can't expect him to carry the NT when he doesn't have the ball all the time.

Higuain is one of the biggest chokers of our time. In span of one year:
Failed 1on1 against Dnpro which would have put Napoli in road to CL from EL, and penalty against Lazio which would put Napoli to CL from Serie-A.
And that's the exact reason why Real Madrid got rid of him, he's not confident enough to play at that level.
