Howard was great but he can't do it by himself.

Saw a summary of the Rockets-Clippers game, got a better idea of what happened.

Blake is going to be ungaurdable again in this series. All these stretch/small ball 4's he is going to expose. Josh Smith and Jones are too small and cant handle him in the post. Plus he is bringing the ball up court and acting like a point gaurd without Paul. He is living up to his potential in these playoffs, this could be the turning point for him. He is finally playing acceptable defence and rebounding the ball. Just has to improve his play in clutch moments.

On the Rockets side, Harden 9 turnovers and playing uninspired defence, constantly losing cutters and not rotating.

Blake finally gets it, he's not just playing the game on pure talent anymore. He knows the advantages he has in each matchup and exploits them the fullest extent and more often than not makes the right decision. (except for some 4th quarters)

Also he's finally rebounding like an athletic freak like him should, if he keeps this up they definitely have a chance of coming out the west. My problems with the Clippers all along was all this plus their perimeter D but even that's improved, their bench is crap but if you can get past the Spurs with a crap bench then why not?

I favour them in this series for sure.

But the Grizz and GSW are a different story for me. Grizz would still pound them inside and as good as Blake is playing, ZBo would test him to his limits on both ends.

On the defensive end for sure but if he's learnt anything from the Spurs series, he should not even bother with pounding with Z-Bo and just use his Athleticism. As he has an advantage there as long as makes aggressive, quick decisions.

If he's improved mentally like we all seem to think he has then he'll use that quickness to his advantage and not try to play with Z-Bo's strengths.

I haven't been able to watch the playoffs as much as I would like so far, (Real Madrid just pissing me off has made me hate all sports), So I haven't watched any 2nd round game so far, but I just saw a shocking stat:

With most players id be surprised but not so much him. In his earlier years he used to get criticism for not getting to the line, because he avoids contact alot on all his drives. He contorts his body all over the place rather than taking the contact.

Ok cool, saw it was a fairly decent price and after what you guys were saying with Wall being injured etc.

You can get 3-1 on Bulls, but I have a feeling Cavs will win that series.

Hawks match up better with the Cavs than they do the Bulls IMO.

Mainly because of the footwork of their bigs and Cavs inability to keep their guards out of the lane. Meanwhile the skill and size of the Bulls have a decided advantage.

But they would probably lose to both anyway so it's a bit irrelevant.

I agree with you Mole, but the way the Hawks are playing none of their gaurds are getting into the lane at all. Teague is playing very passive and Korver obviously isnt good at putting the ball down for more than 1 or 2 dribbles.

So the way they are currently playing, I dont see the Hawks taking advantage of the Cavs questionable defence on the perimeter.

I'll be honest my post was based on what i have seen of them this season, not watched much of them in the post season.
