I'm sure that if the timing was right & all that, Arsenal would love to get Pep. But I mostly expect that whoever follows Wenger will be kind of an unhyped/unexpected acquisition. Not a scrub, but someone that hasn't been an "obvious" contender for years.

I can believe that Diaby is potentially that good. When players repeat these things over and over, it's easier to trust ... like with Cazorla himself, his peers (including the best ones) all have a lot of sincere respect for the Spaniard's ability, it comes through in interviews. Anyway, Sagna also once said that if it weren't for injuries, Diaby would be the best French player of his generation. If only, if only ...

I can see it now.

Lyon take to the away dressing room after facing Arsenal with the usual suspects getting undressed and putting their casual clothes back on. Nabil Fekir steps out to find the restroom and ends up in the Arsenal dressing room after a chloroform-soaked rag somehow finds his face.

After searching for Fekir for hours, Lyon boss Hubert Founier desperately appeals to Wenger to help him find his young star.

With a coy smile, Wenger brushes a speck of dust off of Founier's shoulder, tousles his hair and says: "Well, uhhh, we have him right here."
