Gomes > Doni.
But yeah, he's hardly going to get a game so who cares.

Go to a smaller team and start is better me thinks....
Not just goalkeepers. Afellay, Mascherano, Kaka, Varane, Coentrao, Adebayor, Sanchez etc. all sit on the bench.

Re: Why did Liverpool buy Doni?
I actually think this is a good move, taking into account Liverpool's young GKs. With Doni right behind Pepe Reina, the GKs now have another reason to go to smaller teams and play week in, week out. That's much, much better than playing behind Reina where you'll probably only get a handful of games. It builds them up and when they get back to Liverpool, they'll be more competent.
Young GKs get experience, Doni gets to go to a big club (and possibly the money), Roma rid themselves of him. It's a win for everybody.

Eduardo errors makes Dida and Doni blush.

TBF, it's hard to imagine our academy products as worse than Doni. Doni, Alumnium; these guys are just legends. Jeez, Doni!
