He's actually a good striker in a 4-3-3 formation with players who can cross the ball. However in a formation that requires strikers to do the running and creating he is somewhat useless.

Because it was 2-1 and the game was almost won, he had yellow card, no need to risk everything

We need to defend and block the flanks very well next game... Most of their chances come from crosses like last time. Luckily, it didn't work last game, but they will probably have Benzema back next game, a target man.

Now CR7 will be used on the wings in a 433, with Bale on the other side. Evra and Licht will have to work extra hard this time, with Vidal keeping an eye on them and supporting them like always. 442 didn't work out very well for them with Isco and James as LAM and RAM. I expect them to put pressure on us more with Bale and CR in a 433 system.
