If Napoli win tomorrow they'll go within 4 points of Lazio. Things are starting to get interesting hmm

Still hoping for a GOAT Matchday 38 game between Napoli and Lazio.

We will keep the  3rrd place trophy easily , I can't imagine to bottle this, Napoli are chokers in league and they ' ll give their best for Europa League.
I don't have still idea why Pioli didn't play with Candreva today , for me Candreva should be always starter.

Penez?

After Tevez, he's the biggest difference maker in Serie A.

Omitting the derby today where he'll score surely, he has still scored same goals than Icardi but half on penalty kicks hmm

The list of players who need to leave Roma:
De Sanctis, Astori, Yanga-Bwiwa, Maicon, Holebas, Iturbe, Keita, Doumbia, Ibarbo, Torosidis.

Also, Garcia, Sabatini and co.

Sorry if I left anybody out.

Could've written this script weeks ago....Juve beat Lazio, opening up a chance for Roma to take 2nd again with a win over Atalanta and what do we do?...... draw another match Laughing

Forget that dubious penalty....that's not an excuse for this draw....not with the chances we had today. We simply won't get 2nd back if we can't take the chances created. It's that simple. On evidence, we don't even deserve it back anyway. Now it comes down to the derby.

What are you basing your choices of Doumbia and Ibarbo on? Neither have had the chances to actually prove themselves because of fitness and injury. That said, Ibarbo actually looked pretty good today. Doumbia? not enough time to impact the game....something that's happened a lot since becoming fit again. He needs a run of games as a starter to really see what he can do. That's not happening and that's not his fault I don't think.

Doumbia has had many chances to score but has not taken any. Looks terribly slow, has a bad touch. It was not wise to buy a striker from a lower quality league that Russian league really is. Smart move for CSKA, but not for Roma.

Ibarbo has never been anything special in Cagliari. Especially with that pricetag. 15 millions.. you could get Dzeko for that if you really wanted.

We bought Doumbia for his scoring record in the Champions league, which is quite good. And again, it's hard for him to get chances when he's not getting the ball because he's not finding the passes because his OTB movement is rusty because he hasn't actually gotten a run of games. See where I'm going with this? Can't judge a player when he simply hasn't played enough to gell with his teammates. I still think he can come good if he has the time and the match fitness to properly gell in the attack. It's unfair to expect this guy to come into a chaotic situation and just magically fit in.

As for Ibarbo, he's not a goal-scoring winger. His record with Cagliari confirms that. That said, we don't have to take Cagliari up on what they want for him. We could send him back just as we could with Astori. Like I said though, he's not been all that bad. He did more today in 5 minutes than Iturbe managed all game. That tells you something.
