Also he had two very good games against Madrid last yr.His goal this yr against Olympiakos was crucial to send us through to the knockouts.
Now that we're overanalyzing here,neither has Hazard had a 'great' performance in CL.I dont remember one actually.

+ add to that that Pogba's presence creates additional pressure on opponents plus he a player who pulls players on him and often gets double marked creating hole in oppositions lines

Iker didn't impress me on the long shots either something that Pogba is really good at.

They will probably play him for a while against Cagliari to see how game fit he is. He just turned 22 in March so at that age they recuperate quickly physically, it's his game fitness that may be in question but he is such a talented player I think they will go with him against Madrid.

Max Allegri will “evaluate” whether to start Paul Pogba at Real Madrid after making his comeback against Cagliari.
The French midfielder had been out of action for 52 days, but returned with a goal in the 1-1 draw.
“It’s a shame we didn’t win and conceded a goal that we didn’t defend well,” the Coach told Sky Sport Italia.
“It wasn’t easy, as many of them hadn’t played for a while. Pogba did well, he needed this to rediscover the timing and movement of a match situation.”
This was a test of Pogba’s fitness ahead of the Champions League semi-final at the Bernabeu on Wednesday. Will he start?
