Detatched toe nail help

I've detached my toe nail while playing football, its flappy and its attached to one corner of skin. Websites tell me to rip out, but its excruciatingly difficult and i bleed like crazy. Any recommendations other than seeing a professional? (Last resort)

Happened to me once. Don't rip it off! Let it fall off on its own. When mine fell off I already had another mini nail growing underneath it. That area of your toe will feel very sensitive for a few days. I highly doubt you need to see a medic.

Haha! My big toenail cracked in half from the bottom last week, So basically i cant do anything with it. I can't pull it out because there is skin above the crack which is alive wtf. 60% of the entire nail is dead lulz.

Dad's told me to wait it out. The new nail will push it out, Lets see what happens to the skin thats still attached around all the dead skin lmao.

Bandage it and use a nail-cutter to reduce its length assuming the upper part is dead. Shorter length will help it not getting caught places.

Something similar happened to me twice last year. One time a guy stepped on my toe, another I kicked a ball a bit too hard with it when I was trying to poke a pass. Both times blood filled up under the toenail and the pressure hurt so much that I had to put a red-hot needle through my toenail to let the blood out. A few weeks later the nail fell off and it looked exactly like yours does right now.

I'd say just let it fall off on its own next time unless it's loose and hanging on by a thread, then you might as well take it off. The nail has grown back perfectly fine both times for me.
