He's got a point, but he could have just said "the concentration wasn't quite there because we've already won the title", unnecessary to start talking about other clubs.

Chris Ramsey has been given the QPR job permanently. I don't think we're going to see the Rangers back in the Prem any time soon.

Why aint Chelsea starting Cuadrado ? Have they given upon him already ? Would have been perfect these matches until the end to give him minutes and make him ready for next season.

tbf we don't know the question. I'm suspecting the question contained the word 'blame' and that's what José went along with.
Not much wrong with this statement imo.

The question was "Were you surprised at that result?" Jose just being the small man he is in response. Par for the course.

I just stumbled over this from the Guardian - have fun reading! "The Premier League clubs’ ineptitude index shows there is nowhere to hide"

We lost Suarez. The players had a lot of amazing character to fight to a 5th spot.

When will Arsenal start shooting and stop working it around the box so much mostly wide from good shooting positions etc, They can be so much more effective. Only Bayern can pull this off consistently.

Re: Barclay's Premier League '14-'15 discussion V10
No idea what happened to us lately
We are back to all possession no goals Arsenal of the past.
Quite arrogant in our play at times as we always try to assert dominance via possession but it doesn't work against teams like Sunderland.
Also players seem to be on holiday mode lately. All are in the red zone. Giroud, sanchez, Ozil have all regressed ever since top 4 was confirmed.

Sunderland are nowhere near PL quality. All it took was a bit of effort and fight in their last 3 matches, and some huge slice of luck, such is the dross below them fighting relegation, it was enough to ensure they stink up the league for another season.

I seriously don't know how anybody can blame the team for Sunderland Sunday league pub football tactics. What's the point of shooting when you have an 11 man wall in front of you?
I'm honestly question my undying support for Sunderland now

Well clearly they are as they manage to stay in the division year after year. I struggle to actually come to terms with what PL quality actually is now.

Re: Barclay's Premier League '14-'15 discussion V10
I can't still believe in Sunderland saved with a matchday before than the end
Addio Alvarez...
Advocaat
2nd time in a row who Sunderland looks like destined to be relegated but then it saves with 2-3 exploits in last matches .. but the last year it was got fighting tooth and nail ... this year basically luck , just watching match against Southampton or Everton
Basically Sunderland must thank there were 3 teams worse than them , and it wasn't really easy because Sunderland was really crap.
Great job by Advocaat though, it wasn't so easy to save these scrubs, besides noone could imagine in 37th .. they had -3 just a short time ago

Re: Barclay's Premier League '14-'15 discussion V10
Tears of joy from Advocaat after the final whistle, that's the kind of passion I like to see rather than Di Canio style madness.
What comes to the quality of some of these teams, the fact just is that the gap between the Championship and the Prem is rather big. We'll have Watford, Bournemouth and Middlesborough or Norwich next season and I'd be amazed if at least two of them didn't go straight back down. Clubs like Sunderland, Newcastle, Aston Villa will have to be even worse next season if they're going to get relegated (okay, maybe Newcastle can do it without further decline).
