Gary Linekar will be the host for the Champions League games, while the pundits will be Steven Gerrard, Rio Ferdinand and Jose Mourinho (when he's not managing himself, presumably).

I like the Lineker part, not so much the Gerrard part.

Linekar is a great host, so I'm pleased they got him. As for pundits, I still think they should use the pundits they use for their Bundesliga/Ligue 1/Serie A coverage, and not make the same mistake Sky did by getting in guys who knew very little about the teams from those leagues.
Slaven Bilic is the new West Ham manager. Not quite Ancelotti, Klopp, Benitez or Emery, but a good manager all the same. His Besiktas team were decent.

Yep they should be using Horncastle, Laurens and Honigstein.

Replacing Allardyce with Bilic is a "bigger risk, bigger reward" type of move by West Ham, we'll see how it goes, but an interesting manager to have in the Premiership anyway.

Fixtures will be released in about 15 minutes.
Hoping for a tough start to hasten Rodgers' mid-season sacking.

Might as well use this thread for off-season discussion, imo, it's going to be pretty quiet anyway
