It's cool, I'm just a bit disgusted by the complete lack of class the club shows to outgoing players. Especially ones who have been great servants.
Yep. That's some exceptionally low shit.
Guiterrez said Pardew told him to 'find a new club' the week after he came back from chemo
6 years at the club, or how long? That's as low as it can get. Hence the joke. Stuff like this must not be forgotten.

I was actually just trying to subtly refer to balls (Gutierrez had testicular cancel and lost one of his).

I've frequently found that the subject of cancer humor is stigmatized, it's really not a big deal. It's a joke. Jokes are just that. Jokes.

Apparently the Premier League will be just that, 'The Premier League', from the '16-'17 season as they have decided to not have a name sponsorship after the deal with Barclay's expires.
And Sunderland fans have raised £1,500 for Dick Advocaat's wife to buy flowers as a thank you that she let her husband return to Sunderland next season xD

You know what, your post made me think about it, so I googled it, and you're right! You can buy and deliver flowers for much less than £1,500! Hah, those stupid Northerners! Next they'll probably think Fabio Borini costs £14m! Hah!

Also the fixture list will be out pretty soon. I think in 2 weeks.
I predict Bournemouth away for us on opening day.

June 17th is the day the fixtures come out.
In other news, the transfer deadline for English clubs is now September 1st, 17:00, as opposed to the usual August 31st, 23:00 deadline. Rules state that deadline day can't be on a bank holiday, and the time has been brought forward due to CL squads needing to be finalised and submitted on the same day by 23:00.
So there'll probably now be even less chance of a reporter being attacked by a dildo again.

I think the main question here is, will it give Odemwingie enough time to drive down to London from Mordor?

That reporter-Dildo-Sex doll was an unreal night
I really want to see if anything can top that
Doubt it now
So if the deadline is at 5pm, then by the time I'll be up, it will all be over lol

Re: Barclay's Premier League '14-'15 discussion V10
I would have preferred they cut the deadline down by a day, have it on August 30th if you can't have it on 31st. A 5pm deadline is boring and a shorter deadline day probably means clubs do most of their usual deadline day business a day or two before it. So, we're left with a hyped up deadline day that hasn't got much business left to do on it.

Liverpool FC was among the 22 European Cup-winning clubs to be honoured with a commemorative plaque by UEFA at a presentation in Berlin on Friday evening.
The prestigious continental tournament is celebrating its 60th year in 2015, with Barcelona and Juventus set to contest the latest Champions League final tonight.
Ahead of the match, a representative from each team to have won the competition since its inception received special recognition from UEFA president Michel Platini.
They were given a framed plaque containing the original handwritten draft notes of the cup, which were penned by L'Equipe journalist Jacques Ferran in 1955.
The Reds have lifted the trophy on five occasions - 1977, 1978, 1981, 1984 and 2005 - and only Real Madrid and AC Milan have been more successful in the competition.
when do arsenal get theres.

Colin Pascoe to leave Liverpool – a “mutual decision” between Rodgers and FSG
This Is Anfield understands the departure of the Welshman, who had 12 months remaining on his contract, is a direct result of the outcome of talks between Reds boss Brendan Rodgers, chairman Tom Werner and Fenway Sports Group president Mike Gordon.
Rodgers was close to Pascoe, whom he brought with him from Swansea in June 2012, however he has fallen victim to the “comprehensive plan for improvement” agreed after Tuesday’s meeting.
It is understood it was a “mutual decision” by all three at the meeting to dispense with the services of Pascoe.
The overhaul of backroom staff had already begun with first-team coach Mike Marsh’s contract not being renewed.
In the wake of the news of Marsh’s departure earlier in the day speculation had begun over who will replace him.
Former players Sami Hyypia, the ex-Bayer Leverkusen and Brighton manager, and Bolo Zenden, who served as interim assistant manager to Rafa Benitez at Chelsea in 2012-13 season, were two early names suggested, and after Pascoe’s exit the list will grow.

I would be ok with Hyppia coming in. I wonder if Carra can coach at all...or maybe just be a motivational speaker aha, teach the defence to have some grit.

Something of interest for those who watch BT Sport:
Gary Linekar will be the host for the Champions League games, while the pundits will be Steven Gerrard, Rio Ferdinand and Jose Mourinho (when he's not managing himself, presumably).

Isn't Gerrard off to the MLS?
Or I presume that he will only be in studio in the MLS off-season.

I like the Lineker part, not so much the Gerrard part.
