Shameful that Liverpool don't care about their(arguably) greatest ever player's last match at anfield
Shocking performance. Lucas didn't give two shits before making that challenge.

Because their sucking off of Gerrard has truly been cringe worthy. Not even Scholes and Giggs had such an ott hoorah about their last matches, and they've been much more long standing and successful than Gerrard.
That's what I think Jibers meant, I could be wrong though. I stand by the paragraph above though.

You supporting Juve as well now RG? GTFO. Glory hunter
I just find it a bit cringe. He's not even retiring. I just don't like the cirlce jerking of footballers tbh. If that had happened when Giggs and Scholes retired I would have said the same thing. It's just a bit suffocating.

Scholes had documentaries running all day on Sky when he retired (first time). It was more or less the same thing.
Giggs was given PFA POTY award when he wasn't even top 5 in the league that year. Just because he was retiring and had never won it.
Gerrard isn't getting anything which legends in the past didn't.

one good thing to come out of that game is Rodgers is one more step closer to being replaced. Rodgers would be the best u21 manager in world football. but you cant let him loose with a pile of cash.

I thought the Giggs award was pathetic. Another reason why I think individual awards bar those to do with statistics should be abolished. The cam was just a bit too much. He has been a great servant to the club no doubt.

not that it makes any difference. but how did the ref not see the foul was not in the box for the palace pen. he was 5 yards away and was looking at it.

Re: Barclay's Premier League '14-'15 discussion V10
Even on a day that was dedicated to him, all he wanted was three points. That look of upset at the end was beautiful, just to see what drove him all these years. On a day where every man and his dog was dedicating it to Gerrard, he carried on has he has throughout his time here, wanting to win. You know it was that feeling of disappointment about losing that has driven him to be the monster he has been.
Given the fodder he has shared a pitch with in his time at Liverpool, it's remarkable we are where we are. Alonso, Agger, Masch, Torres, Suarez didn't come to Liverpool to tog out beside Nunez or Josemi or *insert dozens of other players here*, they came here to train and play with Gerrard. I say it with sincere honesty, without him, we'd be another Everton. And unless we're very, very careful in the transfer window this coming summer, and in the next couple of windows, we may very well be, in the not too distant future.
Just an absolute monster footballer for us. Retire the number 8, statue outside the stadium, name a stand in his honour, the whole works. He deserves every single one of them.
He'll never be replaced, because no player could ever carry the club for so long, in the way he has.
