Fifa 16 demo is almost completely downloaded

You know it's bad when you find out that the demo is available through the New Zealand PSN store so you make an account just to download and play it.

Gameplay is awful imo. Not sure if sonic or football.

I played it earlier. Only played three matches and got bored. Some thoughts:

The presentation is decent. The shot of the stadium is very nice, as are the "Sky" score graphics. I said as much as last year, but I really like the commentator reading out the players' names when they show the line-ups. The pixelated mess that's the crowds though is big minus.

As for gameplay... I thought it felt less skiddy. Players feel like they have weight. By and large it's the same old same old though. My first goal was a through ball in behind to one player followed by a cut back to an unmarked player for a tap-in. A lot of new animations yet Reus looks the same as Bale when he dribbles. Every team plays the same way. Off the ball movement still sucks. Holding midfielders still fly forward even after you tell them to stay back.

Overall feeling: meh.

What's with the blue design smh it's irritating my eyes

Also I like that the commentary is mentioning every player on each side and where they're playing. No one got time to read a poverty scrolling text while the game is rolling

Won't comment on the gameplay since it's a demo & against the CPU

Commentator reading the players is a nice feature which I like aswell.

And on my second game I had Mangala & my DM constantly making runs to the box lmao??

Guess it's gonna be another game where you're forced to put it on defensive/ultra defensive

It's been an issue for years.

This is just a small example, but I passed the ball sideways with Castro playing as BVB. I had Castro set on "always stay back", so of course, he runs forward ahead of my other midfield player so if I lose the ball, my DM is now twenty yards out of position. Great.

Playing 4-2-3-1 with City, and Fernando, playing CDM, is on the edge of the opposition penalty area.

Playing 4-3-3 False 9 with Barcelona and Busquets makes lung-busting runs into the box to get on the end of through balls

Gameplay looks a lot more like PES from what I can see in videos though

My first goal was Bale whizzing past Alba and Mathieu and smashing it in the top left corner lol

As y'all know I buy fifa for clubs, so even though I always download the Demo it means nothing because clubs is always 100% different from the main game sadly

Movement still needs improving imo. So many times players just stand there instead of coming towards the ball, which results in the opposition player going ahead of the player and intercepting.

And why is there no 'rematch' option at the end of a game? Have to go through 50 different pages advertising all the new features for this year every time just to start a new game.

Lasted 30 minutes. PES16 was better in comparison. It's that bad

They have completely ruined the game play. Jay was right, players feel like you are moving a boulder from one place to another.

They didn't bother to change anything else. Same movement, same style of play, same AI being retard etc

Still can't access the game....

Was it released for next gen consoles first and for the older ones it's still unavailable?

You know when a game reaches the demo stage, it's pretty much 95% done and all that's left is polishing it. Expect this but with squad updates lol

I couldn't stand the PES demo well actually the most fun I had with it was holding the ball then using the dive option.
