Didnt know that. But I am 50% of way through doing the entire German League so I may aswell continue now. Wasnt that big of a bother really, by far the most annoying is the transfer of players.

Nah they won't, EA have the rights.

There should be a way to set the team to all out attack -attack - defence - all out defence, mid game like FIFA by using the arrow buttons.

The CPU is so much more aggressive in derbies lol.

Sunderland has fouled me at least 10 times in first 30 mins.

Had that against Chelsea and Stoke (I made Arsenal one of Stoke rivals in edit mode). They slide in at pretty much every opportunity.


Finished my second BAL season. Scored 28 in 26 games (had three month long injuries), plus five goals for England. Got no offers at the end of the season, so I forced through a move to Sampdoria.

My player just went through a phase at the end of the season where his stats were going up every game. I jumped from 76 overall to 82 in about two months.

Out of interest, how long would it take to apply the kit/logo patches for EPL and Bundesliga teams?

All i said was that AI was much better on Superstar. Never said it was the god made football game. That's up to you to decide i don't tell people if a game is good anymore as we all have different tastes.

Also the PL kits don't take long at all, BL considering that they don't have the league in the game unlike the PL is a different matter entirely.

To be fair I'm really enjoying FIFA 16 right now. I think while not perfect it is a considerably better game than FIFA 15 - which I found the worst FIFA to date.

A lot of people are talking PES up and I just need to try and see if it is cause the standard hasn't been high for PES or if it is genuinely a good game.

One thing I can tell, I won't be liking the passing. It is way to perfect, ping pong, to the feet. At least that's how it seems from the videos I've watched. But the variety is what always made PES good. No two goals are exactly the same.

Dunno what pass settings they are using but it's not perfect at all tbh, i haven't played the new FIFA but it's less ping pong then most recent PES games imo.

I haven't been able to ping-pong my way through defences. Sometimes you can do it through midfield if you've got the space but actually doing it through a defence is quite hard on the higher difficulties. If you play on Supterstar you simply won't get the room or time to play like that.


Incidentally, main difference between Top Player and Supterstar as far as AI goes: Top Player defences back off every time on the edge of the box. I wouldn't be able to score this on Superstar:

My issue isn't the defensive AI, it is players making unrealistic passes especially online:

1. Making perfect passes while under pressure. It has been my main gripe with FIFA over the years and while I don't think it is completely solved in FIFA 16, it has been toned down to an acceptable level now. If you play or watch real football you know that you just don't pass out in defence when under pressure from the opposing team, you just have to clear the damn ball sometimes. But in FIFA you rarely, if ever see players clearing. You may be surrounded by 3 opposition players, unsettled and unbalanced and you still hold down that pass button to a direction and it somehow finds its target! I *bleep* hate that.

2. Making unrealistic passes. Like when you are facing one side and the ball comes to you and you manage to perfectly pass it at 180 degrees to the other side. It pisses me off enough that people attempt passes like that but what really gets to me is the fact that the game allows this type of play. That is why the higher in divisions you go you see more and more unrealistic game play because the game allows you to play like that with no punishment.

I can't really comment on online as i have mainly just played Master League.

Passing is way harder than FIFA, it's not even close in my opinion. Lots of interceptions or misplaced passes if your not controlling a skilled player.

My biggest gameplay beef is the goalkeeping, arguably the worse I have ever seen in a footy game tbh. Even worse than FIFA 15 and I couldn't believe how bad it was in that game.

That's because the AI settings online is set to Regular for some baffling reason.

They really need to fix that, it's mainly the reason why goalkeepers are so shite online.

At least put it on Top Player as a bare minimum.

Did not know this. Hope they at least bump it up in the higher divisions. I'm in division 8 now. R1 + just tapping the shoot button causes the ball to roll so *bleep* slowly and the GK's struggle to stop it .

Anyone know why they didn't make a fake BL? Just like they made a fake prem.
