Re: Official FC Inter thread
Every year I hear Conte's teams get linked to big-name players and all he ends up with is a grand total of zero. He has no pull.
Expect Barella and Quag or something. It's okay though, Inter will probably still have their best season in years. They will be the ones to end Juve's dominance.

Indeed the current names linked to us from GDM aren' t that good .... Kovacic ( I don't want back that fraud ), Dzeko (legit back-up, not more now ), Barella (good but overhyped), Lozano ( who ), Lukaku ( meh.). I hope for better
I feel sure nor Icardi neither Nainggolan are staying next year though

Re: Official FC Inter thread
Conte loves runners and target men.
He probably gets wetdreams imagining having Dzeko hold up the ball and laying it off to van de Beek who is making a run from deep. What an attacking dynamic that would be.

Well, it would have worked a lot better than Matri-Quags against Bayern.

Re: Official FC Inter thread
Surely the biggest pos I've ever seen in Inter, and I've seen more than one
His request is absurd, he just cares about make a war against Inter, he doesn't care about football, he's even refused a rich bid by Napoli
He demands to go in Juve for 2 euros or as free agent.
Ever seen a similar character, he's begun with refusing calls to play for months and now he 's going to create another chaos
I want to apologize with Diego Armando Maradona, he was right 100% about him , what a beautiful legend, I also think Grondona is bad and Argentina was robbed to USA 94. Honoured to have lost against you in Italy 90. And he's better than Pelè.

Re: Official FC Inter thread
This meteoric Inter start has the same inklings and sensations that Conte's Juve gave us all.
Unexpected somehow but with each win came a bigger celebration, more unison and more respect to a team that win in spectacular fashion and grind it out when they need to.
And who better to mirror that start than Conte himself.
The players teeming with confidence and celebrate each goal harder, parallel to Conte celebrating with the fans like Kenny Dalglish, each goal.
Shame it has to be Inter of all to contest this Juve streak as I grew up seething against Inter and finding Juve more just annoying so hard to see this race as a neutral.
Though Inter's challenge is not in the Champions League as well but what will happen when this streak does regress.
That part, will be interesting to see Conte dig himself out of. Statistically it is due.

Come May, @Robespierre would be partying wildly and I wouldn't get a whiff of that.

Re: Official FC Inter thread
Negative things so far
- Lautaro hasn't been particulary good. Ok garra ( sometimes exagerrated ) but he misses open chances every match and he begins to stink as Argentinian Cutrone. I hope not..
- Hard to find something of negative in a defence with just 2 goals conceded , but imo Skriniar is not performing as last 2 years and that's to do with the system 3-5-2, not used to play in a defensive system with 3 defenders.
Conversely to De Vrij, he had played in Lazio and he is proper to it because he is also a regista ( I mean, Bonucci-esque player .. these defensers perform particulary good in this system). I hope Skriniar assimilates mechanism too
Positive things so far
- Many things ... but I must say few ... Well, the table is expected to say
Conte effect , but I am not surprised on it because great managers are those that make difference immediately.
Average managers are those that " you must give time / confidence.." because you can't admitt they aren't just so good
- Stefano Sensi has been just incredible so far. I couldn't expect this impact.
Good also Barella, he is growining gradually but already here I am less surprised. ( both are so young too )
- Hoping Sanchez is that admired in first half at Genova. It's the difference between getting a good placement and getting something more....

At least you still have (some sort of) stripes

Hate when they fuck around with the stripes like this. I remember similar design in 10-11 season because I bought the kit for a friend.

That was even worse, it had to be the most beautiful kit ever, because it was the kit with many badges ... CL winner badge, Scudetto badge, Coppa Italia badge, FIFA Club World Cup .. something of unrepetable but yet you ruin it so. Incredible
Even colours weren't good. Here at least the blue is correct. Just this can be saved.
