Roberto is obviously getting tested as a rightback alternative with Adriano possibly leaving but other than that: close to the first XI. Which also further confirms that Bartra is behind Vermaelen in the pecking order.

Well, Lucho does prefer more experienced players which ultimately puts Verm higher in the pecking order imo despite that Bartra didn't really shine in the preseason so far

Also Sergi Roberto is not that bad of an idea at RB. In midfield he only has the skill to play DM and that position is obviously unavailable

i hate friendlies.. enrique seems to want to play a full starting team but most starters don't take this seriously.. i think our youngster would put up more of a fight.

maybe offensively in the wing but defensively he is standing in all the wrong places, marking is bad.
whenever they are in a corssing chance (fio) just look where sergi roberto stands.

His best asset has always been his pressing, so I guess playing him in a right-wing back role kinda makes him look ok. Playing him in midfield and he seems limited other than his running. But once Vidal can play in January I expect to see less of Sergi as Rafinha will get the midfield back up minutes and Vidal/Alves/Adriano will rotate at the right back role.

What? We looked good against Chelsea and United and we're looking decent tonight... Fiorentina just perfectly executed the 2 chances they had, other than that we could've been up easily if not for poor finishing.
