My sources are telling me HJK will play a reserve side, since their first team has a CL qualifier this week and next week and will travel to Kazakhstan after playing us.

Art has secretly notificed me that he has managed to arrange a meeting Rodgers at the hotel and tell him what RA thinks of him.

Anyways, this is the only preseason match I'm looking forward to. I always enjoy the last preseason before the season starts. Mostly, like Sep said, the team that starts will probably be the team that starts the season.

I just don't care about friendlies at all, plus I'm not a star-struck type of guy, it's not really that big a deal for me to see LFC players live. Although if I lived in Helsinki I probably would have gone.

Btw, aren't we playing a friendly against Swindon Town the day after this one with a different team? Is that only for youngsters or will some first-teamers be there?

I think one's going to be the starting PL team and the other one the first cup team. I THINK

I saw Rui Faria (Chelsea's assistant manager) walking past me while I was in Sydney for the Chelsea game. My family was telling me to chase after him and get a photo with him. I declined because I don't really get star struck and I don't think he really wanted to be bothered. Plus he was shopping for Ugg boots.

We'll see whether HJK even plays a full-strength side, this match is sandwiched between HJK's two most important games of the season, the CL qualification third round. If it's not their full-strength side, this game won't offer much in terms of any sort of competitive preparation for us.

I guess Rodgers will try players like Markovic etc. for this game and use the Swindon games as final preparation for the first XI.

There has been no indication yet that Benteke or Firmino would play in this game as of now.

Yeah, Henderson, Lallana, Coutinho, Milner, Origi, Ings, Clyne and Gomez are all set to feature against Helsinki.

Unfortunately the full squad isn't listed. Still I would imagine that means guys like Firmino and Benteke will get a chance against Swindon.

No Moreno either. What wrong with that kid, is he injured or something? Are we going to start the season with Joe at LWB??? No Sakho too. I see 6-7 starters in that squad.

Which makes me even more annoyed. Not once has BR played the team that's supposed to start the season's opener, I dont expect any coherence.

That should be our strongest lineup. But considering we will be facing a second-string Helsinki side, not sure what Rodgers will be looking for (in terms of objectives).
