Really hope Soldado goes back to his former self in La Liga. Desperately wanted him to succeed at Tottenham.

i wish we had someone in the mold of marcelo in offensive midfield....its criminal that your left back is probably the most innovative player on the team. james might be, but we'll never get to see that if coaches keep playing him on the right or in central midfield

I think it's because Marcelo is such an unique player when it comes to technique and offensive contribution. He would outshine attacking players almost everywhere.

Not the best defender but he gives the team great creativity and attacking variation from the flanks. A team that has all sorts of legit attacking talent so that says quite a bit.

Didn't think Villareal would have come back and certainly didn't think Loldado would, once again, impress me a lot. Then again, Villareal can probably make Balotelli world class honestly.

He hasn't shaken off that Mule league technique but Bale had a good game today. Didn't really do anything wrong and did his best to be more involved with the overall team play.
