Every team makes good and bad transfers relative to their stature and financial ability. None of us are in control of that. Some teams can pull surefire stars and others have to take gambles. It's the nature of the game.

Also I don't support every decision Rodgers makes, but ok.

I'm surprised Charlie Austin is still at QPR, btw. 18 goals in the Prem last season and QPR have admitted they're willing to sell him if the offer is right. I'd have thought there'd be at least half a dozen Prem clubs who could use him.
