David Moyes after 50 games at United: 27 wins, 14 losses, 9 draws
Louis van Gaal after 50 games : 27 wins, 11 losses, 12 draws

Moyes spent 64.6m on Fellaini and Mata.
LvG spent Luke Shaw, Ander Herrera, Marcos Rojo, Angel Di Maria, Radamel Falcao (loan), Matteo Darmian, Daley Blind, Memphis Depay, Bastian Schweinsteiger, Morgan Schneiderlin, Sergio Romero, Anthony Martial

Moyesie finished 7th. LvG 4th.

4th is better than 7th.

With the team he inherited I would be buying as many players as possible too. I don't agree with who they bought, but if the club is shoving money in your face why not spend it.

Even if just for purely selfish reasons as everyone knows he's gone in a year or two.

Either way, in the EPL if you make the CL it cures all.
