Wilshere played 27 minutes in Bournemouth's win against WBA and didn't get injured.

Joel Campbell played 90 minutes in Sporting's win against Moreirense and scored their 2nd goal.

Joel Campbell's goal:

Chambers and Asano could only make the bench.

So apparently out of all of Bournemouth's passes today, Wilshere managed just the 5.

Sounds like he had a very poor game.

I wouldn't go that far. After all, Bellerin and Iwobi have successfully made their way into the first team, and we've got Holding, Jeff, Zelalem and Willock on the fringes. Having a clear pathway into the first team is the most important thing.

We need to keep things in perspective with our loanees, too. Chambers and Wilshere need form and fitness after not playing for a long time so won't be good right away. Toral has joined Granada at a time when they've signed about 15 players and has gotten lost in the suffle. I don't know what's up with Crowley because he had this problem at Barnsley too. Maybe it's just a mental thing with him, as it was with Akpom last year.

This I agree with, you can win all those youth FA cups and youth tourneys but if the youngsters aren't getting any first team chances then it's a waste of time and resources.

So just to keep track of our main loanees:

Wilshere played 69 minutes against Manchester City and had a poor performance. But at least he didn't get injured.

Asano started his first game for VfB Stuttgart and played 78 minutes in their first away win. Keep in mind that Stuttgart just sacked their manager so he has a chance to impress and get in the first team. He had a very good performance according to pretty much every report I've read,

Joel Campbell started again for Sporting but was substituted after 45 minutes.

Szczesny played 90 minutes for Roma but couldn't keep a clean sheet.

Chambers didn't play again. Middlesborough have conceded 5 goals in the last two games so maybe he'll get a chance soon. No EFL Cup for him either as Middlesborough have already crashed out of the competition.

Asano played started in midweek and assisted a goal for Stuttgart.

He also started last night, but didn't score or assist. Stuttgarter fans already love him and the German media have been impressed by his performances.

Chambers playing CB for Boro. They're 2-0 down to Spurs.

Wilshere playing for Bournemouth again. They're 1-0 up vs Everton.

Watching the Wilshere match. He has been really anonymous. And the bad thing is Bournemouth have had A LOT of the ball and are generally dominant.

Wilshere played 74 minutes, and missed this chance

Chambers played 90 minutes and was one of the Middlesbrough defenders who got steam rolled by Payet.

Watched first half of Bournemouth game and Wilshere was dreadful. Runs like a truck now. Can't turn without being fouled or fouling someone. Missed 3 chances where 90% should have scored in the last 2 games.

He is getting dropped soon I think.

I have pretty much given up on him but will still like to see this till the end. maybe he just needs 10 odd starts without an injury.

Wilshere looks ridiculous stocky these days. He's got too much muscle mass and has lost his agility.

So another start for Wilshere. He has 6 starts in a row now I think which is good for him.

Despite Bournemouth winning 6-1, he contributed none of those goals. But he must have played well...

Might stalk bournemouth forum later on.

And none talked about Wilshere lmao
