Still can't quite believe we did so well today. Our backline (average age of 23 and playing together for just the 3rd time ever)held the most potent attack line in the world to just 1 goal. This is hard for a Romanista to comprehend after a far more established backline got taken apart last season.

I loved how we approached this game though. We did it with humility and realism. There was no cocky bullishness from these lads this time around and as DDR said afterwards - "We had learned our lesson". He's certainly right on evidence.

Nonetheless, we did what we had to doa and the result was probably the best we could've hoped for. For me, I think Leverkusen is now the true danger for Roma in this group. If we're going to suffer a heavy loss outside of what we probably have coming to us at the Camp Nou, it'll come against them.
