HERE BAYERN - will be 4-1-4-1 with former Vidal front of the defense

HERE BAYERN - will be 4-1-4-1 with former Vidal front of the defense
The Bayern Monaco is preparing for the challenge of Turin with unprecedented defensive emergency, that Guardiola has decided to meet with a 4-1-4-1 definitely covered. In front of Neuer, Lahm and with Bernat on the wings, the center will act Alaba, Austrian left-back, and the young Kimmich with Vidal front of the defense ready to climb and trasfromare the defense department to five. Ahead of Chile, Robben and Douglas Costa on the wing with Muller and Thiago Alcantara in the center behind the lone striker Robert Lewandowski. The other former Bavarian in a row, Coman, start from the bench.
===
We can win this. They don't have a true center back. They will regret this (not putting in Tasci). Take my words and bookmark it 100 times.

They will regret it.. Mandzukic will punish him aerially.

I'm hoping for a 2-0. With some luck we can do it. We definitely need the win before going to munich.

18:40 - According to Sky Sports, Arturo Vidal could start on the bench. In its place, in front of the defense, there may be Xabi Alonso.

18:30 - The probable line according Sportmediaset: Juventus (4-4-2) : Buffon; Lichtsteiner, Bonucci, Barzagli, Evra; Cuadrado, Khedira, Marchisio, Pogba; Dybala, Mandzukic. All .: Allegri

Bayern Monaco (4-1-4-1): Neuer; Lahm, Kimmich, Alaba, Bernat; Vidal; Robben, Mueller, Thiago Alcantara, D. Costa; Lewandowski. All .: Guardiola Referee: Atkinson (England)

I hope the fans boo the shit out of Vidal. I hated him after the comments he made when he left.

We can and we should have. But Allegri played his worst match I've ever seen from him. The worst. Worse than his return leg of arsenal-milan a few years ago.

The second half showed us what could have been, but noooooo, lets throw 10 players behind the ball against Bayern, cause that makes sense.

Bayern has their strength when playing with the ball, and their clear weakness at the defense. So instead of pressing, fighting for the ball, and threatening their CBs, Allegri throws everyone back... shameful.

If you are gonna defend like that why the hell play Khedira instead of Sturaro????

Anyway, Mandzukic man of the match for us. Dybala and Pogba better than most. Khedira and Marchisio our worst. Hernanes with a monstrous appeareance, excellent.

Great comeback...

The problem with just running after the ball for 65 mins and then attacking is that you will burn out guys.  Pogba and Dybala were physically destroyed by the time Allegri decided to change tactics.

If you're going to use this tactic, then you need to reduce the workrate of your best players as much as possible during the defensive phases so that they're around when you switch.

You can't count on Sturraro and Mandzu to make the same impact in most games. BUT, in the right circumstances, you can expect Pogba and Dybala to make impacts.

You know what i would do? Put Dybala as the false 9 and Pogba as the 10 so that Pogba doesn't have to kill himself defensively for the first 65 mins. Put Hernanes in his place. All Mandzu was doing for that time was get under hoofs and hold the ball. Pogba can do that just as well lol. Then when you switch tactics, take Hernanes out, push Pogba back and bring in Mandzu and/or Morata.

Well, I don't view it this way. I view it that we learned how to attack them, which seemed imposible in the first half. Great match by the team. Amazing comeback I would say. Hernanes did really well, but I hope CM8 a quick recovery (according to my app, he got injured). LUCIANOMOGGI, I gotta give to you, that hernanes did really well. @LUCIANOMOGGI

I hope that Mandzu is not injured and that we can rest him. He is a monster. Morata is GREAT as a sub. Dybala good job but obviously he needs more experience in the CL agaisnt a big team.

Nah Allegri got it wrong until he switched when Juve went down two... you can't try to pass your way forward from the defense to the attack against Pep. The midfielder area is too dense. The space in Pep's scheme is behind the defense. This is the one manager against whom you need to hoof the ball UNTIL his team invariably gets tired with all the pressure and then you can try passing more.

46'- Marchisio was unable to continue because of a muscle strain, this explains the entry into the field of Hernanes.

No doubt in my mind that Allegri got it wrong. We actually had all 11 men behind the ball for long parts of the first half, even Mandzukic.

If we go for full over the top, long ball football like sports says, then he STILL got it wrong. In that case you play Sturaro who has so much more physicality than Khedira and who has done it against Madrid and City and every other big game he has played. And tell Mandzukic to stick with pressing/harassing the CBs for long balls instead of joining the "team effort". Then you bring Khedira/Hernanes/Morata when they tire and you wanna push up.

That wouldn't be my ideal tatcic here, but it would be a good one. We came out with no ideas. We can't close a game like that without our back 3 in place, and even then, we shouldn't be looking to close a game from the 1st of 180 minutes.

To be fair here, I see what you mean, but I don't think it'd be the wisest thing to do to sacrifice Pogba's midfield contribution for a job that Mandzu/Morata and Zaza can do. We have three decently big CFs for that while Pogba is key in midfield.

He should have done better in that shot in the second half. But overall not angry with him, he was better than Marchisio (hurt apparently) and Khedira. Maybe better, maybe on par with Evra. Not his worst game.

Тhe problem is that he comes with a big fee for buy out and he must preform up to the task because that money cant cost us or be the difference between quality CM and buying him.

You guys can win in Munich.  All the pressure is on Bayern.  They can't sit back because they don't know how and the defense isn't good...  so they have to attack.  Just need to bring physical impact to the game and finish the opportunities.

Cuadrado is useless btw.  I would start Hernanes.  He earned the chance to start.  He's two footed too so he can really bring something if he's on.

Khedira is pretty useless too.

Its gonna be a great challenge in Munich, I still have hope.

Khedira has been great for us, but for matches like these I always go with Sturaro. Khedira is better for when we are in control. As impressive as Hernanes was I wouldn't start him if Marchisio recovers. This was so different than any match he has played for us, it'd be a big gamble.

I knew we could make the comeback...great to see that.We should have been more aggresive offensively since the start but at least we still have our chances to go through.Looks like Allegri was too afraid to have a more offensive approach because we missed Chiellini and the typical back 3.

Next game is weeks away, hopefully we don't suffer injuries and have all players in good shape.
Back 3 and Cuadrado/Sandro on the wings for a deadly counter-attack.

Fino ala fine!!!
