There are great shot stoppers and there are GKs who are great with the ball at their feet. Ter Stegen is a master at both.

He was kinda shaky in his initial days, more down to his nerves than skill though. Certainly very top class keeper for couple of seasons now.

He has more or less always been shit for the NT but that's a different story.
Even in his first season, only playing CL, I distinctly remember him being fantasic in a certain semi

If am not wrong he isn't given much chances for NT, please correct me if wrong. But hell yeah Neuer needs to make way for this lad. Should have been one year and one world cup ago anyways.

Ter Stegen should have played the WC as Neuer simply was nowhere near match fit and Ter Stegen played a brillant season.
But his record for the NT includes a bad mistake basically every single match, and it's by no means a small number.
A fit and on-form Neuer is better than Ter Stegen and should of course be no.1 in NT too.
Neuer was out for a whole year, and now he's clearly not at his best. I'm confident he will be back to it at some point though. Neuer has everything Ter Stegen got, but better.

Best German GK is Neuer, followed by Baumann IMO. Fahrmann has become one of those players who's stats don't reflect their actual performance. Same with Courtois.

I didn’t buy FIFA 20 and hardly played 19, but I’m guessing Courtois’ stats are still inflated?
