Would make sense to me if that's Rosita that got shot. Not sure she really has much of a role anymore in the show.

As for the overall quality of the show itself, I see where everyone's coming from, but I'm likely going to continue watching. I rarely if ever stop watching shows once I've started them, but my tolerance is probably much higher I suppose. It's clearly lost quality over the past few seasons, but not enough for me to completely tune out.

Anybody catch the Negan teaser with Carl?

What a shitty episode  I've grown to hate every character at this point. They've managed to ruin even the better characters.

Shitty attempt at a cliffhanger ending to the episode.

I'm with the rest of you. I'm done after the finale.

What a terrible anti-climax, I don't think the writers even know who dies, I think they just procrastinated it. And why did they hype it so much if they're not going to show it? Ridiculous. I don't think anyone will be happy about the ending.

Negan's actor was good, his lines were terrible.

Carol and Morgan story felt completely at odds with the rest

They are gonna drag this out a bit more. Season 7 episode 1 will probably be history of Negan. Episode 2 will Carol/Morgan only. Episode 3 will show what happened to Dwight and his wife after they left Daryl etc.

Negan and Trevor were great though.

Loved Jeffrey Dean Morgan's take on Negan, but if that's all the cursing he's going to do then that takes a lot away from the character.

Very disappointing finale though. Trying to gin up 6 mos of speculation GOT-style

JDM as Negan was fantastic.

I'd be excited to see more of him if the Walking Dead hadn't just sucked all my interest in the show out of me with that slap-in-the-face cliffhanger.

After months of speculation, teasing, the actors hinting we'd be in for a "sick" finale and for it to be left the way it was...? Don't even know what to say. It was going so well, the finale.

lol, I wonder who made the final decision on that cliffhanger ending and thought it was a good way to finish the season. "Viewers will find it totally thrilling and not at all annoying af, I'm sure". What rubbish.

Carol is apparently carrying some transponder tracking device judging by how Morgan is able to find him.

The same seemed to apply to Rick & co., I certainly never knew you find people in a dark forest just like that. I also found the whole "we've been killing or at least trying to kill scores of each other lately, but now we'll just stand each other off in the middle of different roads for a few times" thing quite odd.

And the Saviors, I just find them a really boring and one-dimensional evil. Maybe it's me, but this show doesn't feel that much like a zombie apocalypse survival story any more. The only survival thing now seems to be Rick's people against different one-dimensional and clearly evil groups. First the Wolves - which were a bit of a no-show - and now the Saviors.

And that being the case, it feels like an easy decision to stop watching this show.

Why end it without revealing who got killed. It was building up to that scene and the writers bottled it.

The actor who plays carl tweeted that not even the actors know who's been killed. Makes me believe that the writers were undecided and in eventuality will most likely/predictably choose a weak character like Aaron or Eugene as the victim.

Felt unsatisfied after it ended. Very weak finale imo.

Also funny how Morgan and his horse crept up undetected on that guy who was pointing the gun at Carol, just as he was about to pull the trigger.  Only on the The Walking Dead.

Best part of this episode was seeing Trevor from GTA 5. Great actor.

Negan is perfect. Fantastic choice to cast JDM. He will kill it next season.

Thought it was a good finale but ending was shit. The build to it was very nicely done. Felt terror with those guys blocking the road.

It HAS to be a big character. Glenn or Abraham. Not rosita or sasha or eugene



Also Carol and Morgan's only role in that episode was to introduce The Kingdom.

Seriously loved Negan. Glad they got him right at least. Can't wait for the next season with more interaction between him and Rick.

Thought Rick's acting was amazing in the finale. Not seen him so scared and vulnerable in years. Guy is a brilliant actor.


Overall season 6 was fantastic bar few episodes.

Ughhhhhh *bleep* this show.

That ending was building up some *bleep* great tension. I swear to that point I thought that was the best *bleep* scene of the whole show. I even ignored the shitty dialogue they gave Negan because the acting was soooo badass and the building of that moment was suspenseful and thriller as *bleep*. But goddam they had to go and ruin the goddam scene with that bs cliffhanger. Absolutely ruined it for me.

Carol and Morgan arc completely laughable. Awful awful awful in every single aspect.

I'm sooooo pissed. I don't even call that a cliffhanger. It's a *bleep* cop-put of epic proportions man. *bleep* the people running this show.

They were going for a Game of Thrones cliffhanger to keep people talking about the show for the next six months but what they didn't anticipate was that we'd be talking about how garbage a decision it was to do that.

Would have preferred an ending where Negan was going to kill TWO people, he kills one and then says something like, "who's next?" and then it ends.

We get the satisfaction of some climax in the scene and there's still the cliffhanger element. This way, the cameraman is dead.

But, yeah, so refreshing to see Rick 'piss-your-pants' scared for a change. Shows Negan is the ultimate baddie. Rick has been doing amateur BS in comparison.

I agree with everything you say. That stand offs were ridiculous. Why they didn't launch a rocket to them? Also, do you keep insisting in going to the Hilltop after the second blockade? Just go home and read the goddam doctor books and try to save maggie there.

Also, what happened to the wolves? I thought they would get some exposure and we would get to know about them. They were misteriously interesting and it got nowhere.

Finally, that final scene was rubbish.

won't quite watching though, still one of my favourite shows and I want to see more about the wolves and when Rick kicks Negan ass.

Also, do you guys think Eugene betrayed the group and told their location?
