Could have been a good episode had it been all about the supply run and had they put some more interesting action to it than a fallen tree. Felt like there was 10 minutes worth of watching in a 45-minute episode now. And the whole ambush thing needed to be done better. Although I certainly didn't see Eugene's ehh... under-the-belt tactics coming... That was a pretty wtf piece of writing to solve that situation...

Abraham's one of my fav characters, but at this point would have preferred him dying. Killing these aboriginal Alexandrians raises no reaction in me.

How come no one's mentioned the Carol thing yet? Is this how they wrote her out of the show? She's been one of the toughest and smartest people in Rick's group and now she's just had a "I'mma become a hermit" level breakdown? What a major anticlimax about her character.

Eugene biting that guys balls, managing to to get through his jeans to grapple enough force....how? :facepalm:

And Dwight being bitten had a gun in his hand, why not shoot him in the head??

Glad fatso died, annoying bish...crappy actor too. Knew she was gonna die too, they gave her nothing character a lot screen time and dialogue in the episode= a sign that they'll get killed off.

Carol leaving again.....meh.

All in all, it was a filler episode.

Honestly, that fat doctor really annoyed the shit out of me until now. Can't believe she was getting so much screen time. Glad she's dead.

Carol leaving really seals the deal for me in terms of who Negan will kill when he's introduced to Rick. It's going to be Carol, isn't? They've been building her death arc the whole season. Meh, I'm disappointed. They managed to really *bleep* up Carol's character development. I'll be disappointed when she dies but not as much as I would have been if it came out of nowhere.

Think we should have seen that fat fake doctor's death coming ever since they introduced us to that real doctor in hilltop. Hope they ask for him in exchange for protection next time

Was too cringey for me. Perked up when she started raising her voice at my boy D-rolla and *pop*, got startled, no lie.

Anyone else notice how much Rick reflects basically every villain in the show as time goes on? I know the parallels between him and the Governor with his speech about attacking the Saviors was pretty obvious, especially with Tara's reaction to both being the same. Also, his soap opera stealing of Jessie a la Shane and his general philosophy on life in the Z-world now being even more hostile and aggressive than Shane's. But, remember when he bit that guy's throat out when he was trying to molest Carl? Brings to mind the Terminus cannibals although I'm not sure if that happened before or after the throat biting.

Daryl imo and she will end up blaming herself for Daryl's death....

Rick's an interesting character for sure, basically good with that ruthless "survival of the fittest" attitude. Sometimes I think how things would work out if the group was "trimmed down" to just a handful of people, say, no more than six or seven. When it's a small community of dozens of people like it's now it kind of puts people's morals in shackles, you need to keep your actions generally agreeable. The smaller the group, the easier it is to, umm, voice your morally questionably ideas and act on them, too.

From my point of view the best thing that could happen to this show is some really bad shit going down and a lot of people getting killed. Even ignoring the original Alexians, Rick's group has been too big for a while, imo.

They better be saving up for a huge finale because that is the only way to justify 3 low budget episodes in a row, the last 2 being incredibly weak on all aspects.

I've come to the regrettable conclusion that this show has become shit. I'll watch the season finale and shed a tear for the memories and then I'm done with this show.

Looked more like Daryl got shot in the shoulder. Very average last few episodes.

Still expecting a finale with more than a few deaths + Negan's introduction so hopefully that proves to be this season's saving grace.

Would make sense to me if that's Rosita that got shot. Not sure she really has much of a role anymore in the show.

As for the overall quality of the show itself, I see where everyone's coming from, but I'm likely going to continue watching. I rarely if ever stop watching shows once I've started them, but my tolerance is probably much higher I suppose. It's clearly lost quality over the past few seasons, but not enough for me to completely tune out.
