So suspended by Dortmund from CL due to 'internal reasons'. What internal reasons, I wonder

Disciplinary reasons. Watzke didn't confirm it but it was pretty obvious. He also said Auba will be back in the squad on saturday though.

Reus was/is never a central figure because he is perma-crocked. Can't build our team around a guy who isn't on the pitchLucifer wrote:Is it too son to say auba has displaced reus and become centre figure in dortmund attack and tuchel tactics

The Daily Mirror report that coach Thomas Tuchel made the decision to punish Aubameyang after discovering that the 27-year old made an unsanctioned trip to Italy on Monday to attend a party at the Hotel Villa Borghi in Varese, about 60 kilometers from Milan.

Auba still needs a step up more before he joins any elite club across Europe

Auba, like everyone who's moved from Dortmund, will fail spectacularly if he transfers out

Nah just Gotze, Sahin and Kagawa.
Anyway i don't think he's improved that much tbh, he was always very, very good. He just doesn't play much as a lone striker and most people thought he was another Walcott ( aka really fast but couldn't play CF by himself)
Doesn't necessarily = massive improvement just an increase in chances to prove himself in a new role.

Thats the maximum when you count high profile transfers. Only Lewandowski has been a success so far. Its early starts for Gundogan, Hummels, and Mkhitaryan, the former two look good so far.

See no reason why Gundogan and Hummels are going to fail tbh, besides their talent level are higher than the ones who have failed.
Gotze is a disappointment but the other two are quite obviously EL standard players at best.
Lewa succeded but he's quite obviously elite in his postion as is the two you mentioned and where as Sahin and Kagawa are not and never have been.

Lewa doesn't count since Bayern picked him up on a free transfer, rather than negotiate with Dortmund

Still leaves Gündogan and Hummels and both are actually elite and won't flop as long as they don't get super unlucky with injuries.
Miki might be different but tbh I don't even understand his situation atm

Because it makes no sense.
Mourinho publicly demolishing a player, for no discernible reason, whom he himself bought for 40 millions just last summer and whom he has played about 70 minutes all in all.

Auba with a first-half hat-trick, making his manager look a bit silly for dropping him earlier.

He's already been a top level striker for a few years.
Definitely a classy player.

Auba jetted to a party in Italy Monday night and was late for training on Tuesday. Ahead of a wednesday CL game, obviously that left Tuchel no choice but to drop him.
Not sure what's hard to understand about that one.
