The 2nd half was awful. Looked like those mid-week European games took their toll, the players seemed just tired in the 2nd half.
Luckily there won't be such problem in the West Ham v West Brom game. The boredom will just be for a different reason.

Also, what about Costa throwing his warm-up vest in furstration
Almost looked like he might have aimed it at Mourinho

Come one now, regardless of what you think of his quality, if Rooney doesn't qualify as a club legend, I don't know who does. Into his 12th season as Manchester United's star player with 237 goals scored in all competitions.
For starters the player has to have some sort of attachment and commitment to the club he represents. Rooney will be regarded as a record goal scorer and an important part of United history no doubt about that, but never a club legend, well at least not for guys like me and Jibers.
Ander Herrera during his 1 and a half season with Man United has shown more than rooney ever has over those 10 or so years in terms of passion and commitment. The lad's crazy about the club. Now thats the stuff that makes legends, and not the fake love this douchebag displays.

Excellent performance by Chelsea.
If they can wither the storm of Costa and some political and lack of tactical discipline from certain players, then they will be on the right track for a recovery.
Game was thrilling, might not be entertaining; but there was a lot at stake and the players, especillay the chelsea players gave it all they ve got.
Tottenham were completely dominated; and they only were after a point and they got it.

Agreed. Chelsea had 1 shot on target. Wouldn't have expected so much firepower from them.

A beautiful free-kick by Zarate. Such a weird up-and-down career this guy's had.
I'm also convinced that if it wasn't for Pulis, West Brom would be right in the relegation mix right now. That squad is no better than Newcastle's, Aston Villa's or Sunderland's. It's probably worse than Newcastle's or Villa's. I mean, here I am watching Craig frigging Dawson and a washed-up Sessegnon "bombing up" the right-hand flank and Jonny "I'm also not a full-back" Evans and James "punching above my weight since 2011 and I still don't know how" McClean on the opposite flank. With no other than James "I haven't heard of myself, either" Morrison feeding them balls in the hole. If nothing else, I suppose this Baggies side will provide the answer to the question "Can you stay in the Premier League with 100% grit and 0% skill combination?".

Are you being serious or sarcastic?
Sure he's the definition of a hot-and-cold player, but that goal was sublime and all that's separating the sides at half-time.

Yes, his foot is capable to create beautiful goals. But playing football is another thing. It is not enough to have a good foot to do it. A poor man's Balotelli

Re: Barclay's Premier League '15-'16 discussion V6
But a poor man's Balotelli might be a useful player for a club like West Ham
Usually these mid-table clubs have a lot of "decent & reliable" players, but they're lacking the players that can provide moments of magic, even if those players don't do it consistently (because if they did, they'd be playing for the big clubs). Zarate's been good for the Hammers this season.

Re: Barclay's Premier League '15-'16 discussion V6
They bought Jonny Evans to play left-back and James McClean to be that tracking-back winger to help Evans out
I don't know, it's classic Pulis, just what he did at Stoke, if your resources are limited, just load the squad up with no-nonsense players. Boring as *bleep*, but they got a good point again today, so I suppose it's working.

On Liverpool v Swansea: Quite interesting that Monk is starting Eder again and Gomis on the bench. No Coutinho for us, but Swansea's team isn't looking that scary, we should be able to control the game and get the goals for the three points.

I don't know what you're talking about
Liverpool v Swansea 0-0 @ HT
When watching the Tottenham v Chelsea game, I thought that are we going to look tired as well after our Europa League game. We are. Good 20 minutes, after that it looks like we've already run out of gas. This game has started to look like one goal will win it and either side can get it.
