Sion vs. Liverpool
A 2,000 km round trip after a moral-sapping defeat. Doesn't sound like the ideal boost. But things have worked strangely for us and we seem to hit the jackpot when chips are down. Klopp and the squad will have four days to muse, think, plan and prepare. Tactically, this game can be very similar to the last one. Sion knows if they lose and Kazan win, they will be out. So they are likely to pull-up the draw-bridge. What better way for Klopp (and the players) to discover the tactic to unlock a crowded defense.
Bogdan should surely get a chance and may be Toure too. May be we should rest Clyne and Moreno but throwing two youngsters into the deep-end doesn't sound right. Emre (had his rest) and Milner (can be spared against WBA since Henderson is back) and Allen should start, but Coutinho shouldn't be risked. Petty that Teixeira is ineligible.

Re: Sion vs. Liverpool
Still a bit depressed about the Newcastle game (the only thing that gave me a bit of satisfaction was knowing the Dutch were behind our defeat).
It's a bit sad, but with Coutinho still not fit and Sturridge looking like hot garbage I'd like to see this against Sion:

Don't like the idea of including Coutinho in the match squad.

Re: Sion vs. Liverpool
Slight edit to the line-up.
I think, especially if we are relying on Firmino/Benteke as our main strikers with Sturridge right ****ed, 2 strikers is a good idea. I know Benteke has largely played as a lone striker, but I feel he's the type of player that would really benefit from a 2 striker system, given his qualities.

I would never play Firmino and Benteke together ! They both make look each other bad when they play together. Firmino can be moulded into either Klopps Lewa or a Suarez. This Sturride injury fills me with so much hope

Re: Sion vs. Liverpool
Don't really care do we finish 1st or 2nd in an Europa League group, so don't really care about this game. Hopefully playing as many youth and fringe players as possible.

The Swiss are not well-known for warring
And footie-wise they’re pretty boring
But they held the Reds
Fair enough, all is said
Except that I spent the whole match snoring

Don't let that deceive you. The whole of the Swiss Alps is hollwed out with nuclear bunkers. They all have a weapon at home.
Just because they're not aggressive doesn't mean they're not ready for WW III
Apart from that
A poem

Re: Sion vs. Liverpool
The only thing I really have to say about this match is that I hope with Rossiter fit he'll get a lot more minutes. I think he's great. His composure and intelligence on the ball is really something beyond his years. He needs to work on his tackling and obviously needs to get physically stronger (age, experience) but otherwise he looks to be the complete package.
