I know it's cliche, but those are the games which champions win.
Happy with the result, and man were the goals we scored fantastic goals!
Let's keep rolling on!

Italian press reporting that Inter have agreed to terms with Conte but still have to agree with Chelsea.
Considering he has two years left on his deal, I don't think he's going anywhere.

Superb win away against a London rival in an historically difficult fixture and some pretty shocking tactics. Apparently brainlessly hoofing the ball up to a half-witted carthorse centre-forward like it's 1970 for 90 minutes doesn't bear too much fruit. Who knew.
Was vital to maintain our lead at the top as a loss here and a City victory in their game in hand would have put them 5 behind. As it is, that's one of our trickiest remaining fixtures out of the way and another 3 points in the bag. Now bring on The Special Once and 6th Place FC

Great win, important to keep the 10 point gap at the top.
City can go to 91 points and Spurs can go to 89 points.
So we need 92, or more realistically, 90 points to win the title, we're 24 points off.

That Hazard goal was mouth-watering That's the one thing that excites me the most about this team. How well Conte is structuring our team for the counterattacks and how well the players are executing them.
Oh, and Kante is obviously out of this league He needs an increase in the game difficulty, it's not even funny anymore

24 points to go, confirmed by this mornings result.
8 wins or 7 wins 3 draws.

Aka we'd have to lose more matches in the remaining 11 games then we have in the whole of the previous 27. Nothing's over till it's over, but if we fail to win it from here we should liquidate the club, burn the stadium down, and divert the team plane to North Korea.

Can't see City/Spurs going past 80 pts at this rate tbh. 5 wins should suffice

I think they'll max out at 85.

Beautiful win over the Past-it Portuguese Prick and his Thug XI. A long-awaited return to Wembley awaits, and against a side we last dicked there 5-1 :')

Arsenal would have been best. But Spurs are easily a better draw than City, especially with the match being contested on a neutral ground (and one they've struggled considerably on this season to boot).

Arsenal would have been ideal. if we got them, I would have been sure we'd win the cup.

Another win, albeit a late one.
7 wins to go, unless Spurs and City slip up tonight.

Brilliant win indeed. Seeing Conte celebrate it so intensely and demonstratively (as if he could any other way ) is assuring as it demonstrates that even with our advantage he's valuing every last point, which will - and clearly has - only transmit through to the players.

Some say that Conte is yet to let go of the dugout's roof and is still hanging there, celebrating.

Re: The Conte Era - Chelsea 17/18
What a frustrating game. Holy shit.
I wasn't even worried when we went 1-2 seeing how we were able to create vivid goalscoring chances at every possession, but as the time was inexorably ticking away without us scoring I started to become nervous and lost patience, and I think that's what happened to the players too. Just one of those cursed games.
Also, there was a clear penalty not awarded to us that would have inevitably changed the outcome of the game but whatever tbh. We should have won despite that.

What a win. That's City out of the race!
18 points to the title, or 6 wins in our last 8
Conte also becomes the first manager to beat Pep home and away in a season

Alonso should probably start taking more free kicks from now tbh. That goal was as beautiful as it was crucial to seal the game, and I remember some other times in recent weeks where he hit the bar with them.

When Willian isn't on the pitch, I agree.
