Giroud is official, but our lack of forsight means we lost to Bornemouth due to having no CFs.

Both are good signings. We should have bought a LWB back-up 2 transfer sessions ago, when it was clear that we were gonna play with a 3 man defence and that Alonso was the only LWB available.

Batshuayi is a fine poacher but he didn't really bring anything else. He was so frustrating at times. Giroud should be an improvement and should fit Conte's style more. I think he's not too dissimilar from Diego Costa.

not really sure what giroud can really bring now. I felt every one of our signings this year was a shit signing, and we are probably turning into the new spurs or even an everton hehe

A complete mess, besides th fact that Bakayoko is a fraud- it’s amazing that he keeps starting. Also, as a team- we can barely string any passes, it’s always been that way for a while. We may actually end up losing our best player at the end of the season. :/

At this rate we're going to loss Courtois and Hazard to Real Laughing

Would love for us to get Milikovic-Savic in the summer. Get Baka away from the club.

As long as conte is I charge, we are going to see Baka back in the starting lineup once his suspension is over. I honestly love conte (not as much as mourinho), but I feel he doesn’t have his heart in the club anymore, he won’t change anything around. He had a plan set last season and made sure to make it work, but now I feel he is just waiting to get sacked and leave. That’s my opinion.

Also I think it is mostly the clubs fault than anything to do with conte. Morata has been the only signing that drove us during the first half. But he has been mostly frustrating, and drinkwater and barkley are ridiculous signings for any attempt to retain the PL or challenge the UCL. I sort of like zappacosta, and I unterstand why we signed bakayoko in the begining (but now its like damn lol). But all in all, it is strange that we have not tried to strengthen after winning the PL

Selling Matic and Costa has cost us. The board failed us and Conte, no doubt.

I don't care what issues Costa caused us, he was a game winner. He would have dragged us through game, which no one aside from Hazard can do.

And while Matic wasn't great, he was reliable and selling him and solely relying on Baka is a huge mistake.

I honestly don't mind Drinks, he is decent depth, nothing more. Zappa isn't Chelsea quality.

If we can get a top CM in the summer, we'll be much better next season.

Good win, and good debut for Giroud.

Where would we be without Hazard?

Yeah, such a shame!

We're in an ok position to advance, but neither are in the ascendancy.

I'm old enough to know that losing isn't the end of the world, but we're going to struggle to get CL next season.

We could very well lose Hazard and Courtois because of it. I personally don't think Courtois is a major loss as there are other GKs who are of a similar quality that we can get. Hazard is irreplaceable.

i really dont want to lose hazard Sad. Honestly tho, conte has been a bit crappy as of late, this match shouldve been giroud starting with hazard and willian on left and right. He should know that matches like this fabregas cant do what he does with just a two man midfield. Hazard was just wasted today- how does conte keep doing the same thing every week with no relevent results? I get pissed listening to his press conferences when he states he's all that and chelsea dont match his ambition- even tho the club isnt competing with transfers, he is just not able to adapt to any team anymore. To say anymore- hiddink would do a better job at this point.

i feel im being a little too harsh on conte, i guess its easy to blame the coach when we have a string of loses. In the beginning he was hailed as someone to find quick answers to problems within the team, it cant always be the case.

There has been a shout for replacing him with Jody Morris, who is doing excellent things with the youth team, I'm not sold on him leaving, but if he does, I think Morris would be a very good option, at least short term.

another write off for the season. I think we still have spurs and liverpool in the PL, but I can't see conte masterminding anything anymore lmao. We'll probably stay 5th and get europa league next season.

if we stay the position we are right now, itll be our second worst season since the turn of the century. But its okay though, itll be another wake up call for the club, and we can only learn from all these things. I dont really think we will lose hazard, as I am not sure many clubs are willing to actually fork up a large sum of money to buy him. Although courtois is another story- I think this summer will be really good for us and I can see us getting some really good changes for the next season.

Apparently Courtois wants to stay, hopefully that means Hazard will too.

Winning the FA cup would be nice but I'd take top 4 over the FA cup right now.

I'd love Milinkovic-Savic to partner Kante.

I'd also want to fix the issues with CF before getting another creator.
