Good game by us, been impressed by Koke from Spain, Pique was crap in posession, and Romania' no. 10 youngster Stanciu played like Hagi.

The only (or the main) reason why rooney is not willing to fck off to China is because he shockingly is still considered a starter for the NT. The moment he is dropped on a permanent basis, he will start feeling his time at the top flight is over and will spare us(England supporters + united fans) of the drudgery of watching him play. So ffs keep him out of the team Woy. On form alone there should be at least 4 other attackers better than him right now.

I think kane is englands best striker now.

Guess I'm one of the few who doesn't think Vardy should be starting. I feel he'd make the most impact off the bench when teams are tiring. Kane has far more about him as a forward, and I'd rather see a technically better player - Welbeck, Sturridge, Sterling, Lallana, etc. - on the flanks.

I don't care if Rooney is in the squad so long as he isn't starting. Hodgson needs to make that decision quickly before it turns into yet another media circus before a major tournament.

The fear I have is that he'll ditch the 4-3-3 that we've been using well recently and play 4-4-2 just to get Rooney on the pitch without dropping Kane. Rooney/Kane wouldn't be a bad partnership on paper, but I wouldn't be confident at all if we had a midfield two of Henderson-Alli, or Dier-Alli or Dier-Henderson. Not to mention we lack quality wide players as well.

With that said i have no idea who should start in the midfield and forward positions lol.

Dier, Alli and Kane should but the rest is up in the air imo.
