Can't lie, he has the aura and the presence of a main eventer. Wish he was actually developed as a main eventer instead of a sudden push.

Every GOAT from Rock to Austin to Cena had to make their own way to the top.

I feel bad for him at times

Reigns being labeled 'the chosen one' by dirtsheets saw the hardcores turn on him from like the Shield split. Especially, when rumours were coming out that he was the one who was going to get the streak rub.

Royal Rumble 2015 made it 10x worse, and it was evidence that the company doesn't care what the fans think and they'll force Reigns down everyone's throat.

I think anyone who was put in Reigns position would have been turned on, but with Reigns it's worse because he doesn't have indy cred and isn't that talented.

That's what i gathered as well, but in NXT his face run has been very disappointing IMO so hopefully they don't stick with it on the main roster.

If they do i can see him flopping quite hard.

Pushing him on the basis of what he's done in a promotion 90% of casuals know nothing about doesn't make sense imo.

Just like the rest of the new signings, he has to get over with the WWE audience first.

It's not about " pushing him " it's about allowing him to do what he's good at instead of forcing him to do what he's not particularly good at.

No matter if someone is a jobber or main event, if they are a better heel than a face that's what you book them as.

Besides, WWE hardly needs more good guys on the roster Laughing

we have more than enough as it is. He won't get over as a babyface anyway, i'm pretty confident in saying that.

I was talking about him being put into a top spot because of what he did in another promotion. The last thing people want is a bunch of randomers filling up the roster and coming out to crickets because nobody knows who they are. There's more than enough call ups as it is.

Imo they have to be eased in one by one, with a good backstory, character and a solid feud straight off the bat.

The callups of Corbin and Enzo/Cass have worked so far. Zayn and Crews on the other hand aren't getting anywhere because they have no character and all they do each week is come out smiling and wrestle.

Is it unscripted? Been reading and watching a bit of CM punk, seems like something the cult of personality would do

Liking his character a lot, shame, as i would've loved to see him still with the company

All of Punk's promos were unscripted afaik. One of the few who had that privilege (because he was so damn good at them). That particular one was a work though, even if it all ended up turning into reality by the time he left.

Think everyone would love him back but he had very convincing reasons for leaving.
