Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 27
we talked about it in chat but full story
wow
MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) - Wrestling legend Jerry "The King" Lawler is behind bars, accused of domestic assault.
Friday morning, Memphis Police Department put him and his fiancée in jail.
It's a case of he said, she said where both Lawler and his fiancée, Lauryn McBride, ended up as victim and suspect.
McBride, 27, has lived with Lawler, 66, for five years. She said they both got into an argument, and it turned violent.
She said Lawler held her against the kitchen counter, hit her in the head, pushed her against the stove, put a gun on the kitchen counter, and told her to "go ahead and kill yourself."
Lawler told police the argument started when McBride lied about where she'd been.
He said McBride scratched him in the face, threw a candle at him, and kicked him in the groin. He said she was drunk when she told him she knew where the gun was and threatened to kill herself.
Lawler said the reason he held McBride in the kitchen was because she was drunk and trying to leave the house in her car.
Memphis police officers were unable to determine the primary aggressor in the case, so they arrested both McBride and Lawler.

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 27
I can see Cena-Styles being similar to Cena-Owens. A spotfest with a bunch of false finishes.

On the bright side, it allows Graves to be called up and we can finally see Mauro and Graves call a match together.

WHERE YOU BEEN BITCH?
I just.. I dunno I...
YOU MUST'VE BEEN DRINKING FROM A FORGETFUL COW
*Goes for a scoop slam*
*Gets kicked in the nuts*

The smart money has come in. Apparently there was a huge shift last night. MITB betting odds (correct 95% of the time)
- Spoiler:
- Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose, Styles, New Day, and Rusev are all heavy favorites

- Surprised at New Day, thought they'd drop the belts here.

- Spoiler:
- I think they see Enzo and Cass vs New Day as a program for Summerslam. That's when they will probably drop the belts.
I'm not sure about MITB though. Last year, Reigns was the heavy favorite and Sheamus won. I could see Del Rio pulling off an upset.

- I'd thought they'd lose to Anderson and Gallows to make Cena look strong tbh lol

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 27
Urgh they are adding more filler.
Lucha Dragons vs Dudleys and Golden Truth vs Breezango are on the pre show so now Crews vs Sheamus and Corbin vs Ziggler are on the main show.
If there's one thing i hate more than their shit booking it's their insistence to get everyone on the show and have loads of filler content.
Don't think i'll watch it live now tbh.

Thankfully, I haven't watched a single Corbin-Ziggler segment since Wrestlemania.

Dave Meltzer on Twitter: "WWE just realized they have to fill two rosters, calling lots of 40+ year old guys to return for the new era."

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 27
Forbes.com has an article mentioning several big names that WWE is reportedly in contact with about having return to the company for the brand split. Here is a direct quote from the article:
"According to sources, this talent includes the likes of Goldberg, Kurt Angle, Rey Mysterio and TNA’s Jeff Hardy."
