The Hound
Bronn
Kinda wanted Arya to die tbh, and see that WIFE theory come true
Yara is bae, beautiful actress
House Mormont
Sansa sending a Raven to LF, got a feeling he might betray her
Dont see where the Jaimie arc is going, seems kinda fillerish, giving him something to do until the rest of the arcs progress
Surprised we didn't see Brienne this episode
Overall good episode 8/10

My favorite character is back. The Hound for the throne
The theory makes so much sense. Next episode is going to be exhilarating.
What I imagine will happen is that Arya kills off Waif in a duel inside the House of Black and White. She then proceeds to unmask her - only to realize that Waif is no one other than Arya. Jaqen H'ghar comes out from behind and says, "A girl is truly no one anymore."
I don't see Waif winning the duel (and then revealing herself to be Arya) because she is supposed to represent Arya's inner demons.
Previously, Jaqen tried to blind Arya to make her stop hallucinating about Waif but that turned out to be fruitless. He then returned her sight back as he realized that the plan wasn't working.
The House of Black and White is basically a mental conservatory to treat people with dissociative disorders (read Faceless Men). Jaqen realized that Arya was one such sufferer when he first encountered her. Arya quite comfortably interpreted the role of a boy named Arry. She has assumed so many identities over time that she has become psychologically traumatized.
The Many-Faced God is no one.

Remember in S06E02 when Arya is fighting off Waif in the streets? After a brief encounter, Waif seems to disappear and Jaqen shows up. This is some Fight Club-esque shit right here.

THE episode of the season for me. Even better than the door. Just WOWWWWWWWWWWWWW.
Loved the Riverlands arc. Blackfish!
Loved both the Glover and the Mormont parts. Loved the small storm brewing between Jon and Sansa. Saw it coming from the moment Sansa arrived at CB actually. Their little bro-sis moments couldnt hide it for me. They are both too dissimilar to work in tandem. Sansa is a proud and stubborn little biatch like her mother. Curious what they are planning to do with this arc now. She wrote to LF right ?
Loved Lady Olenna and Margery in this episode and the GoaT politics in KL which was the highlight of this show for the 1st 3 seasons is getting revived cos of them Cersei is useless btw.
Arya and Waif. Next episode is gonna be AWESOME!!! Its dedicated for them with the title No One. Cant wait.
Finally my favorite character in the entire show is back. BLOODY HOUND!! Hell Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaas. What a bit that was.
and Ian McShane. FFS. What an entry and exit.

Re: GAME OF THRONES - PART 7 - *NO BOOK TALK - READ THE RULES*
Lyanna Mormont was so funny! If those 62 men are anything like those 20 good men...
Sansa wanting the Vale army. Can she trust Littlefinger? I doubt it.
Aren't the Brotherhood without Banners supposed to help the smallfolk???
So Margaery is playing the Faith?
Ironborn being relevant. Yara the lesbian!
Jaime in the Riverlands. Had a real season 1-3 feel about it. Did he take the entire Lannister army? How do they still have so many men?
All building up to episode 9. Going to be so epic!

What an episode ffs. This is what happens when you leave Dorne out of the equation. Every scene was good. Really thought Arya was gonna die there for a second.
Yara is so good, don't get the hate she gets sometimes. Even Glover, and also Lady Mormont were good

Re: GAME OF THRONES - PART 7 - *NO BOOK TALK - READ THE RULES*
Lady Mormont
Read a little about her so was hyped when she finally was introduced.
62 good men They're probably crazy good anyway.
Yara ffs
Glad to see the Hound back but a bit too much screentime imo. Also I don't know why Brotherhood killed the camp. Aren't they supposed to protect the common people?
Riverrun part was my favorite. Can't wait to see how it ends over there.
Sansa
I don't know if LF will be her downfall or vice versa smh
No Dany & Dorne so obviously the episode is a very good episode setting up for future episodes.

Yea don't think the theory will happen. Not enough time for Arya to become no one and does something relevant at this point in the show.
She will kill the waif and return to Westeros. Which begs the question, WTF was the point of her staying in braavos

Re: GAME OF THRONES - PART 7 - *NO BOOK TALK - READ THE RULES*
Great episode overall
Final scene was chilling AF. Love the hound and can't wait till he butchers brotherhood without banner. Great to see him back. Disappointed we didn't get to see more of Septon Maribald nor hear his GOAT speech.
Lady Mormont  Davos continue to be GOAT.
There is 0 chance of LF betraying sansa. She is one of the very few people he cares about. Can't see it. But then it's GoT so who knows.
Seeing Theon and Daenerys together would be weird lol. Have a feeling she will marry him thus confirming the prophecy.
Also we won't see Dorne again till season finale according to one of the actors so we can chill without worrying.
Riverrun was GOAT.

Riverrun was GOAT.
The character was Brother Ray, a combination of Septon Meribald and Elder Brother.
[The character of Ray] is a combination of a couple characters in the books – with additional characteristics we added. One of those characters gives a speech in the fourth book referred to as “The Broken Man” speech by A Song of Ice and Fire fans. The speech itself didn’t make it into the episode, but it inspired the character and some of his dialogue. So the title of the episode is a nod to that speech – kind of like when we called episode 205 “The Ghost of Harrenhal,” even though that term wasn’t spoken out loud in the show.

Re: GAME OF THRONES - PART 7 - *NO BOOK TALK - READ THE RULES*
- Broken Man Speech:
- "Ser? My lady?" said Podrick. "Is a broken man an outlaw?"
"More or less," Brienne answered.
Septon Meribald disagreed. "More less than more. There are many sorts of outlaws, just as there are many sorts of birds. A sandpiper and a sea eagle both have wings, but they are not the same. The singers love to sing of good men forced to go outside the law to fight some wicked lord, but most outlaws are more like this ravening Hound than they are the lightning lord. They are evil men, driven by greed, soured by malice, despising the gods and caring only for themselves. Broken men are more deserving of our pity, though they may be just as dangerous. Almost all are common-born, simple folk who had never been more than a mile from the house where they were born until the day some lord came round to take them off to war. Poorly shod and poorly clad, they march away beneath his banners, ofttimes with no better arms than a sickle or a sharpened hoe, or a maul they made themselves by lashing a stone to a stick with strips of hide. Brothers march with brothers, sons with fathers, friends with friends. They've heard the songs and stories, so they go off with eager hearts, dreaming of the wonders they will see, of the wealth and glory they will win. War seems a fine adventure, the greatest most of them will ever know.
"Then they get a taste of battle.
"For some, that one taste is enough to break them. Others go on for years, until they lose count of all the battles they have fought in, but even a man who has survived a hundred fights can break in his hundred-and-first. Brothers watch their brothers die, fathers lose their sons, friends see their friends trying to hold their entrails in after they've been gutted by an axe.
"They see the lord who led them there cut down, and some other lord shouts that they are his now. They take a wound, and when that's still half-healed they take another. There is never enough to eat, their shoes fall to pieces from the marching, their clothes are torn and rotting, and half of them are shitting in their breeches from drinking bad water.
"If they want new boots or a warmer cloak or maybe a rusted iron halfhelm, they need to take them from a corpse, and before long they are stealing from the living too, from the smallfolk whose lands they're fighting in, men very like the men they used to be. They slaughter their sheep and steal their chickens, and from there it's just a short step to carrying off their daughters too. And one day they look around and realize all their friends and kin are gone, that they are fighting beside strangers beneath a banner that they hardly recognize. They don't know where they are or how to get back home and the lord they're fighting for does not know their names, yet here he comes, shouting for them to form up, to make a line with their spears and scythes and sharpened hoes, to stand their ground. And the knights come down on them, faceless men clad all in steel, and the iron thunder of their charge seems to fill the world . . .
"And the man breaks.
"He turns and runs, or crawls off afterward over the corpses of the slain, or steals away in the black of night, and he finds someplace to hide. All thought of home is gone by then, and kings and lords and gods mean less to him than a haunch of spoiled meat that will let him live another day, or a skin of bad wine that might drown his fear for a few hours. The broken man lives from day to day, from meal to meal, more beast than man. Lady Brienne is not wrong. In times like these, the traveler must beware of broken men, and fear them . . . but he should pity them as well."
When Meribald was finished a profound silence fell upon their little band. Brienne could hear the wind rustling through a clump of pussywillows, and farther off the faint cry of a loon. She could hear Dog panting softly as he loped along beside the septon and his donkey, tongue lolling from his mouth. The quiet stretched and stretched, until finally she said, "How old were you when they marched you off to war?"
"Why, no older than your boy," Meribald replied. "Too young for such, in truth, but my brothers were all going, and I would not be left behind. Willam said I could be his squire, though Will was no knight, only a potboy armed with a kitchen knife he'd stolen from the inn. He died upon the Stepstones, and never struck a blow. It was fever did for him, and for my brother Robin. Owen died from a mace that split his head apart, and his friend Jon Pox was hanged for rape."
"The War of the Ninepenny Kings?" asked Hyle Hunt.
"So they called it, though I never saw a king, nor earned a penny. It was a war, though. That it was."

Re: GAME OF THRONES - PART 7 - *NO BOOK TALK - READ THE RULES*
Do you guys know WTF happened a few episodes ago when "Jaqen" took the poison and died, only for the waif to become "jaqen" behind Arya? and now we have both "jaqen" and the waif.
I see about 0 chance of Arya winning against this people. She either makes peace with them (by this being a test of some sort or they simply letting go) or she dies. No chance of surviving versus faceless assassins.
The hound coming back was awesome, he is gonna wreck the brotherhood.
The whole things with the sparrows is the worst part of the whole show for me. At least Olenna is always awesome and ripped on Cersei for a while.
