Better in the second half when Elneny came on. Have a sneaking feeling that Coquelin is going to start against Liverpool at Xhaka's expense.

I thought Chambers was more at fault for that second goal than Gabriel. The position he takes up is a nothing position; doesn't pick up a man nor does he close down Navas despite being the closest defender. Santi losing the ball in that area of course didn't help.

Chambers-Holding against Pool will be a laugh.

I agree but Santi loosing the ball in that position doesn't give the defenders much of a chance. They have to readjust quickly and before you know it bang goal

Only saw the second half but I thought there was a lot to be optimistic about. Iwobi, Ox, Campbell, and Akpom have all done good things in preseason.

Theo's goal, to give him his due, was superbly taken.

Gnabry has scored again for Germany at the Olympics.

Kind of a shame that his injury has coincided with Iwobi breaking through and Campbell establishing himself. Can't see how Gnabry has a future with us currently.

You never know, remember what happened with Coquelin. Campbell future at Arsenal is far from certain, if he doesn't get much game again he will probably ask to leave. Same can be said about Ox who has yet to establish himself after almost 5 years here, if Gnabry has successful loan in the Bundesliga for example. I can see Arsene willing to give him another chance.
