Brazil winds the group, tough fight for Peru and Ecuador though, that can go either way.

Absolutely excited for today. Other than Guerrero, Gallese and Rodriguez, the team will be made up of new generation players that will be on the team for years to come.

Although there is some concern that Pizarro, Farfan, Vargas, Ascues and Carrillo haven't traveled to the US, the kids we have in place in them are great prospects. Da Silva, Benavente, Polo, Flores, Hohberg and Trauco should be able to do well.

I know its against Haiti and they aren't that good, but I really commend Gareca for going for the young generation. The old players haven't been playing well for Peru in the qualifiers.

I think we can take a point from Brazil if our central defenders fix their errors, and if Gareca plays Benavente for Hohberg and either Da Silva/Polo on the left

Against Ecuador, it will be very tough. Historically, Ecuador flop at the copa america but a point from them would be suffice

I mean seriously, Brazil needs to sit back and look at themselves. They surely must realize they are steadily decreasing and I am sure a better side could of been out there, but Dunga's starting 11 was nothing to be excited about. Or is the issue deeper than that, down the youth development? Brazil used to pump out talent by the handfuls, now they are struggling to put the ball in the back of the net

Player selection is mostly irrelevant as long as we have Dunga as our manager. That said, it's still painful having to watch mediocre clowns like Alisson, Gil, Elias, and Renato Augusto play for us.

Btw, what betting odds can you get for us getting knocked out on penalties again by Paraguay in the quarters?
