Re: The Bundesliga Thread
I don't keep up too much with Bundesliga outside of the big teams but what's the reason for HSV's downfall? I see they finished 10th last season, swear they were relegation candidates for a while last season? or was that the year before, looking at their team they have some good players, I always liked them due to VDV, although his return was obviously ill advised.
2 pts from 8 games this season? smh

That's a very good question and I think the answer would be pervasive mismanagement over years that has destroyed any sense of trust in the club's running, has established a deep-seated, complicated structural mess at board level, and made any managerial continuity impossible. they've burned through what by now almost must be a dozen of coaches

The comeback in Dortmund lasted 10 seconds.

Tony Modeste the greatest striker in the history of the... uhmm what is bigger than the Universe?- ties it up for Koln, Freiburg also now leading and Rodrigez throws away any chance I have of going through in last man standing.

Leverkusen are one strange team.
Also it wouldn't be strange to see Hertha-Koln end in a draw

Re: The Bundesliga Thread
Maybe it is my dulled senses due to consuming booze from a jar last night, but it seemed a wild day so far, but then again based upon the way I feel, making a cup of green tea is an exciting thing for me today.
Leverkusen - Hoffenheim 0:3 (0:1)
Hertha - Köln 2:1 (1:0)
Ingolstadt - Dortmund 3:3 (2:0)
Darmstadt - Wolfsburg 3:1 (1:0)
Freiburg - Augsburg 2:1 (0:0)

Re: The Bundesliga Thread
Martinez in the back for Bayern means goals for gladbach.
Maybe a bit of a stretch, but if gladbach win and Lawn Bowling Leipzig win tomorrow, Leipzig will be top of the table.
Gladbach do have a decent record vs Bayern

Martinez >>> Hummels tbh, as for defensive stability
of course, our worry against Gladbach is not the defense but Neuer gifting them a goal as per usual

Re: The Bundesliga Thread
Martinez goes down too easily and gets gifted a foul when Hahn looked at him sternly.
Vidal makes it 1-0
Lewa and Rafinha both with good chances. Actually a nice bit of skill by Rafinha on his chance.
Not sure gladbach will get anything from this game

Meh. I'm not amused about today's matchday. First RWO losing at home 0:2 against Viktoria Köln and now Gladbach losing away to Bayern by the same margin with a really embarrassingly desolate performance...
