Ballon d'Or race 2016: Ronaldo wins the Ballon d'Or

Dude, you could add the 7.4 billion people living on this planet and Ronaldo would still win the BdO this year.

But if you ask me? I don't think he deserves it, and neither does Messi. In fact, I don't think there's anyone out there who played at Ballon d'Or level consistently from the beginning til the end of the season. I don't know, maybe these two have raised the bar too much, including for themselves. And if it was up to me, I wouldn't give it to anybody this year. But it has to go to someone, and Ronaldo even though doesn't deserve it is the closest to it than anybody else with his club and national team achievement. One thing for sure though, Messi doesn't and shouldn't win the BdO this year, no matter how you spin it through the magic of those numbers, which nobody else apart from you reads btw.

I suggest you start thinking about creating another conspiracy thread of how Ronaldo didn't deserve the BdO to go along with  the billion other threads you've created for him.

It's not beginning to end season award, it's calendar year award. Messi has been blazing the whole year, he's twice goals and assists compared to next best playmaker.
