Re: 2016/17 Summer Transfer Rumours Mk. IV
PSG prepare megamoney offer for Arsenal transfer target Julian Draxler...
Arsenal are set to be disappointed in the market once again with Julian Draxler -- a player they have been linked with for some years -- set to accept a huge offer from Paris Saint-Germain, according to the Sunday People.
The Gunners have long been connected with the Wolfsburg forward, but the French champions appear ready to unsettle Die Wolfe's stance that the 22-year-old will not move this summer.
Having joined Wolfsburg from Schalke only a year ago for £28.9 million, coupled with the remarkable fees being chucked around by Premier League clubs this summer, Draxler could be as expensive as any player not named Gonzalo Higuain or Paul Pogba.

I wish we were in for Lukaku - it's not like we can't pay that money.

You'd want Lukaku at Bayern?
I wouldn't push him off the proverbial edge of my bed, as a backup striker.

Re: 2016/17 Summer Transfer Rumours Mk. IV
According to Spanish outlet Fichajes, Inter are planning a £69m move for Alexis Sanchez after claims that his contract talks with Arsenal have stalled.
(AW said Alexis and Mesut contract talks will happen outside the transfer window in a more relaxed setting)

You know of the 'gooner' exodus earlier this year? In a period of a few weeks, many posters like Jay, myself, and MJ decided to drop the reference from our nicks.
Also, I went on a sabbatical from football early this year - was here on GL, but not really watching any games.
BVB has been my second team for a few years now though

Oh now I remember For some reason I never made the connection from srigooner to sri
Lukaku would probably be a good fit for you then and I'm not sure about the wage structure either. But then again Wenger won't buy anyone.

If Chelsea are in for Lukaku it's not really that surprising considering Conte always plays with two strikers.

when you picked a team to support what made you go for a English team and not a german team mate.Sri wrote:zigra wrote:Sri wrote:

sign the lad or don't, if you can't afford him - I hear Higuain has a few pounds to spare (:
Ask him to chip in like pjanic did
(never heard of him btw and I thought Milan had 6.7m in the bank)The world football players' union FIFpro has said Bastian Schweinsteiger is essentially being bullied at Manchester UnitedI could hardly believe it. One or two players are going to think long and hard in future about whether they want to go to such a club," Rummenigge said.On Mata wrote:he's embarrassed the player in front of the fans, he's embarrassed him in front of his family and friends and I don't like that at all. I think Mata dealt with it really well, stayed on the pitch for the celebrations, did the right thing but I don't think he'll be in a Manchester United shirt come the end of August."Anthony Martial appears to have taken a swipe at Manchester United after his No. 9 jersey was taken away from him and given to Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
United announced their provisional squad numbers ahead of the new season earlier this week, with Ibrahimovic being given the number nine and Martial taking Adnan Januzaj's No. 11 shirt.
Another one,
Since the split Samantha says Martial has seen Peyton just four times, including taking her and his parents on holiday to Guadeloupe.
She blamed his transformation on last year’s switch from French side Monaco.
She said: “I was told United was a family club but off the pitch he didn’t get any guidance. Manchester United have ruined my life.
smh
The earlier players move out of that toxic environment, the better. Or maybe not, money is more important. This is Moneywhore United after all (:

Re: 2016/17 Summer Transfer Rumours Mk. IV
We've apparently offered Torino 17m (15 + 2 for bonuses for Peres and a 1.5m/yr contract for him.
Think the wage would work, but Torino are probably going to hold out for that extra 3m. Don't see why they wouldn't.
Apparently Maksimovic is angling to move to Napoli as well by not going to training so I'm not sure how Urbano Cairo feels about losing 2 of his best defenders a week before the opening matchday. One of them is going to stay I think.
Sauces: Sky Italia/CDS

Does that seal Florenzi's move up further the pitch McL? Would be great to see him as winger/midfielder again

Barca doing to Bravo what we tried to do to Navas when will teams realise that early 30th for a keeper is the same as mid 20s for an outfield player. Bet they'll regret selling him
