Balague, Sky Sports' Spanish football expert, said: "The coaching staff at Valencia think Mustafi will not go, and this is the same message being made by Valencia.
"They insist the only way Mustafi will be allowed to leave is if Arsenal trigger his €50m (£43.1m) buy-out clause, which I think everybody will agree is too much money for him.

Balague is a clown that doesn't know shite, lad just says the obvious after browsing the internet like the rest of us or talks out of his ass. I srsly think Arsenal will sign some brave average prem lad like Evans though rather than make a big signing at CB.I also think 40m is about the going rate for someone like Mustafi too. I feel confident after using him on FIFA a few times with throwing him in the same bracket as Otamendi and Mangala. There's no way he's any worse. + Valencia know Arsenal are desperate. I'd offer 25m + Gabriel.

Re: 2016/17 Summer Transfer Rumours Mk. IV
£43mil would buy lacazette. I think they need him more than a big money CB. they should have signed Williams for £12mil and give the £40mil for lacazetteFirenze wrote:Balague is a clown that doesn't know shite, lad just says the obvious after browsing the internet like the rest of us or talks out of his ass. He scored nearly 40 goals in Holland one season, I think he'll be more than good enough to be the best ST in the Championship.

He also scored 20 goals in less than 2500 minutes for Wolfsburg just 2 years ago and it's not like he's old.

Reading complete permanent signing of Manchester United’s Tyler Blackett
So is any youth player going to be given a chance under Mourinho?

Mourinho will be gone within 3 years. I highly doubt he cares about any youth players.

mourinho is imo the 2nd best manager in the world. but he needs to go out and buy world class players to do his stuff.juve_gigi wrote:RealGunner wrote:Reading complete permanent signing of Manchester United’s Tyler Blackett

This is true but his longest ever tenure at a club was 3 years so I don't see this ManU gig playing out any longer than that. Especially given Zlatan is almost 35. So I don't think he cares about any of his youth players.

he will probably get starts in the league cup/europa and sub in prem
gonna study under Ibra and then become our starter when he leaves (best young english talent since Rooney)

Re: 2016/17 Summer Transfer Rumours Mk. IV
not sure about that tbh. martial is a better player but again I'm not sure mourinho will bring him on. he will waste the next 2-3 seasons pushed out to the left. he will lose the most important few years of his life under mourinho.Firenze wrote:he will probably get starts in the league cup/europa and sub in prem

Rashford will get game time, injuries happen, and form dips in players and he is versatile enough to get into any of the attacking positions.
Fosu-Mensah as well in defence and midfield

So is any youth player going to be given a chance under Mourinho?
Donald Love, Paddy McNair, Varela and Tyler Blackett --> None of these players are any good to have a future at a big club. At least as of now we(fans) can say that somewhat confidently. However we never know how these kids are going to develop. Some may develop to be even excellent players. Michael Keane of Burnley for example is a similar United youth reject who is really growing lately (Arsenal imo should look to buy him and not that scrub Evans), But so far these guys havent shown anything noteworthy.
Whereas Januzaj, Wilson, CBJ and Andreas Pereria(soon) are loaned out because they have a chance of playing for United in the future. But with the options we have right now in the squad and Mou's general record of relatively low injuries it was imperative for them to go out to get games. Especially someone like Jackson who has in him to be a top player.
As mentioned in the posts above, Rashfod and Fosu Mensah are our biggest 2 players as far as youth are concerned and they are therefore part of the first team and Mourinho has assured they will get games (Europa and Cup). Heck he is even using another Mancunian Lingard who all thought would be out the door under him this season.
Last season these players were getting games because half of our first teamers were out injured. Lol how convenient it is of everyone to forget as soon as a shit Marcos Rojo returned from injury LvG nonchalantly pulled Borthwick Jackson out of the first team and never played him again. And he loaned Januzaj to Dortmund where he played like 2 games on the whole.
Jose is spot on with his decisions I would say regarding our youth so far. Then of course people are going to mock him for shipping out the young players. If the player is good he will play them, unlike the dinosaur who used his youth policy more as a cop out strategy to save himself of blame for being shit in his tactics and everything else.
