Im not a comic book guy so I'm not the best source, but I didn't pick up on any unexpected cameos or anything out of the ordinary.

They pulled it off though. A movie this big is hard to deliver and they did it.

Thor is probably my favourite fictional character from my childhood.

Really happy they finally played to his goofy side much more in the movies. Wish he had some more Scandinavian influence in the movies, but I’m not huge on the lore of Thor in comics.

I read a comic called Valhalla growing up where Thor had to dress up a woman and marry a frost jotun to get his hammer back. Need to see that in the next Thor imo.

After thinking about it, this movie is my #1 from the MCU. There's just so much, in a good way.

Just got out. This movie is something else, top 3 CBM ever. Thanos was the standout, best CGI villain of all time, he was so menacing yet you could feel his reasons for doing so. Feige is a genius, and the Russos just topped their previous work with TWS and CW

2nd view yesterday and it got better. Thor is the best character in the film after Thanos.

Pete, Tony, Strange and Banner, I liked them too. Cap was a bit underused

Ms. Marvel, Ant Man, Wasp and Hawkeye (Ronin probably) will have huge roles in the next movie.

Best MCU film easily. Surpassed all expectations.

love Thor man. Best thing they have done to him.

Loved the direction they went with.

Thanos is perfect. Best MCU villain handsdown.

Isn't Thor supposed to be an absolute massive arsehole in Norse myth? Haven't seen Infinity War but I always got the feeling the Marvel version was incredibly neutered compared to how he's supposed to be in the myths.

Most iterations here he’s a meathead. Sometimes he’s goofy meathead etc.

He’s probably a little too kind in Marvel compared to here. He’s also very thuggish towards Loke at times Laughing

He’s an overall idiot who always gets into trouble all the time. He chooses to see the good in people and is very naive. He’s by far the strongest of the gods iirc.

The hammer looks weird in MCU though. Mjølner is a bit more pointe and can shrink.

I think Thor 2 and the whole Jane Foster thing was the biggest departure. Thor was always married to Sif here and loved her a lot. Wish she got more time in MCU. Also Thor isn’t blonde. He’s a red head.

They nailed him this movie though. I think Hens worth is perfect..

Haven‘t seen Black Panther yet, do I have to before watching Infinity War? I‘ll watch it at some point but I really want to jump in straight at the Avengers before I get spoiled.

You don't need to see it. You'll see a few characters you don't know and a place you don't know (Wakanda) but the plot of BP isn't necessary to watch this one.

On the other hand watching this will spoil parts of BP.
