Despite being just 22 years of age, the striker has played more than 100 games in the First Division and he was one of the club captains at Valencia.

A centre-forward and member of the Spanish national team, the 22-year-old is one of the most promising strikers in Spanish football.

“I’m happy to be here at such a big club” said the Spain international. “I am here to provide hard work, humility and professionalism.” And he’s also promising what is required most of a player in his position – goals. “Forwards live for goals and I hope I’m lucky in that respect” he says. “I want to offer my grain of sand by doing good things at Barça.”

The 22 year old adds that “coming here is a huge thrill – I’ll find it easy to adapt because I already know some of the team.”

But all three of the trident will be new to him. “Messi, Neymar and Suárez are the three best players in the world” he says of his future strike-partners. “It will be a privilege to play next to them.”

was GOAT for me in FIFA hope he does same for us. apparently his best attributes is supposed to be "attacking position". looking forward to see him play.

Unreal depth.

Not familiar with him yet, although Valencia have good record in producing many goods players, obviously to us too David Villa, Alba, Mathieu, also Silva to City, lets hope Paco continue the trend. Cant help but feel bad for Munir though... but putting trust in Enrique, since he did give the kid numerous chances over the last couple of years.

I'm not convinced he's needed. We sell Munir who is equal a caliber of a player (imo), for a loan with option to buy for something like 12-15M, and then buy Paco for 30M plus variables? That's the dumbest shit I've heard. Munir was fine as a back up striker, it's a right back that needed the most work this summer and it's literally the only position that didn't get looked at. So we pretty much replace Munir with an equal caliber player who we had to pay allot more for, and in the process give away one of our brightest Masia prospects (with no buy back option)

I can already say Umtiti and Digne are better than Masch and Alba.

Also we've improved our depth A LOT.

We needed to improve depth not our starting XI.

None of them will start, so who cares if they are better or not.

That's the problem of the coach. In my eyes Umtiti and Digne are better suited for the starting role than Masch & Alba at the moment. That means the starting XI has been improved theoretically. If the coach doesnt notice it, it's a completely different discussion.

I dont understand why you keep saying we havent improved at all and the transfers have been done wrongly.


Alcacer > Munir
Umtiti > Mathieu/Vermaelen
Gomes, Denis ---> more midfield options which is very convenient because of aging Iniesta
Digne > Mathieu/alba
Cillessen will only play in CdR anyway.



How is that not improvement??? We bought 5 players for around 100M who have improved our squad  (and all of them are fine with being benched). In your mind a better option was to buy Pogba (around 100M for 1 (one!) player who isn't better than Iniesta/Rakitic anyway and wouldn't sit on the bench...). That'd be mad.

One deterioration though. Ter Stegen is not as convincing and reliable as Bravo, at least not yet. Then again he did not cost us anything in the UCL. So hopefully he won't cost us any points in the league either.

The other big deterioration at least for me. Dani Alves is still better than almost anything you can get to replace him.

fantastic purchase imo... hope he gets a good number of games.

Messi is injured so he'll get his first start this Saturday already.

guy has absolutely no margin of error, need to be on top of the game from start otherwise will be crucified by Barca Fans due to Munir saga. crucial for Lucho as well that he doesn't flop.

Since when has Munir become such a fan favorite? lmao After 2 preseason games? Last season Barca fans wanted to kill him because he didn't make it 5-0 in the Clasico.

and munir is supposed to be a starter for valencia (although i suspect they'll bench him once he starts scrubbnig it)
