I watched the entire match. What an ass kicking. Can't believe Lucho rotated so damn heavy for this game, lol. We wrekt them in the pre-season, not like they should worry us to the point we rotated like 70% of our starters.
Anyways, amazing display by the team. Neymar and Messi in particular were incredible. Gomes and Umtiti also stood out imo.

idk about you guys but gomes looked better in the buscuit role than he did in the iniesta one.
he still needs confidence but shows so much promise which is great.
hope we start umtiti more over mascherano... before this game was gonna say that mascherano should maybe be used in the DM position to maybe help buscuit regain form but now gomes can do that.

what to say, great game overall
that's what we needed after disappointment at Alaves.
Umtiti should be starter clearly, Gomes did great too. Hoped for at least 30 mins for Alcacer but Lucho for some reason held him back

Yea so far Gomes is out shinning Denis. 2 different type of players though, looks like Gomes will be used as a CM and CDM and Denis as a CAM and LM. Either way, we have been missing a player like Gomes for a long time. I'm very happy to have him on board.

Yeah Gomes has been a great transfer and I don't mind the price tag.
We needed that kind of player and we got one who is also young and very promising.

btw, City vs Barca is going to be incredible. The form City are in is ridiculous, and now Gundogan is back and he looked great today. Otamendi is playing again in his Valencia form. That said they are still weak at the full back position but the rest of that squad is in damn good shape.
