no idea why I'm still watching it, it isn't completely terrible I just watch it to pass the time and I like the premise

finale was hilarious for a couple reasons, probably the most ridiculous thing I've seen on a TV show ever tbh

I don't watch this show so i have to see the scene you're talking about but you can definitely shield yourself from gamma radiation with a thick wall made of lead.

and in the same scene the impact radius/force was shown blowing out skyscrapers far further inland than they were

they just rolled with it
