I actually watched the first ep last night - I've never read the comics so no input there but it was actually pretty damn good for a first episode, I'll keep checking it out.It's at 88% on RT

There's glorification of statutory rape in the first episode. But the perpetrator is hot, so it doesn't matter.

Weird show. Will give it more episodes to fix the wack stuff.

The girl playing Betty is great though. Wish it would be more lighthearted teenage show. Why is that not something anyone makes anymore?

My guess is they needed at least a halfway catchy setting to sell their unimaginative drab.

So is the any new shows that have insane hype a la GoT or Breaking Bad?

The only news shows I've watched recently were The Night Of which was good but not goat level. And Westworld which I was also good but I couldn't even finish the first season for different reasons.

So anything?

I already thought the first season was great so I'm glad to hear it gets even better.

Why did you read it all before the tv show got done? There's not many good scifi shows airing currently. Or are you the type that doesn't let spoilers detract from your enjoyment of a tv series?

Definitely recommend Riverdale now, 3 eps in and it's really good. Not your typical CW show with a pretty cast.

Did anyone watch season 3 of brooklyn Nine-Nine? Netflix got it now however I didn't like the first episode since the new captain was awful and I miss the old one.

I've been watching it on E4

tbh I like the show but it's never been one I've watched every ep of, I watch eps when I catch them on TV and don't always watch the entire thing lol, should watch it all properly one day

and completely agree Freeza, thought the Pilot was interesting but it keeps getting better so I'm down for the entire season now

It's pretty episodic so doesn't matter much if you watch it all or randomly tbh. Good laugh though. One of the better sitcoms atm.

I never got around watching this again and was looking for a good sci fi series to read. Figured if this was good enough to get a studio to back it for a series it was probably pretty good. Spoilers don't really bother me if I ever get back to it (until this season i already knew the GoT 'spoilers' ahead of time and still watched religiously)
