Spurs 2-0 at Fulham and very comfortable. Kane has scored both goals.
The quarter-final draw is this evening after the Blackburn/United game.

I don't see the logic how City are favorites just because Pep Guardiola is managing them. Monaco should give them a good fight, City should edge them.

Maybe City are favorites because on paper they have a far better team?
Forget Pep, under any competent coach they should be considered favorites.

based on the way they play this season however, most people know that this City team aren't as good as they are 'on paper' I am favoring Monaco but I have it at 60-40.

Ibra subbed on. Ibra saves us.
GOAT.
Unreal run and what a pass from Pogba.
4 goals for Ibra in his last 100 minutes.

Which is why they edge, Read explicitly Guardiola being the difference. Anyways.

Guardiola managed Barcelona in 4 CL's, 2 titles and 2 semi. Managed Bayern in 3 CL's, 3 semi.
Can't you really see any logic?

FA Cup quarter-final draw:
Chelsea vs Manchester United
Middlesbrough vs Huddersfield/Manchester City
Tottenham vs Millwall
Sutton/Arsenal vs Lincoln
So if Sutton beat us tomorrow, a non-league team is guaranteed to be in the semi-final of the FA Cup.
If we win, we'll play two non-league teams in a row

we can beat Chelsea. Would rather face and beat good teams than get a free ride to an easy cup. Less rewarding then.

Re: Ranieri's Dream Premier League '16-'17 Discussion - Part 11
Thats a blessing in disguise. We already have our hands quite full with the Prem and EL and having to play FA cup too would have really killed us. And Mourinhos no rotation policy even against weaker oppositions would only add fuel to that fire.
And anyway its better we play a big team in a relatively earlier stage and go out rather than keep on going, play a few more matches and loose against that team in the final.
BTW @Firenze no way we are getting past Chelsea at Stamford Bridge mate. We never manage to beat them, not even at OT since a long long time. That tie is decided already sadly.

Based on his recent quotes, I actually don't think Wenger is leaving

What do you think he'll manage this season with Man City? Clearly he is a god since the squad doesnt matter at all.

He is not a god, but he knows the way. Of course it depends on the draw, but i think Manchester City are clearly favourites against Monaco.

Re: Ranieri's Dream Premier League '16-'17 Discussion - Part 11
He is their back up lol. 1st choice is Ross Worner.
Guy above is a character though
"He turns off the floodlights then sleeps at the ground each night. Meet Sutton United's Roly Poly goalie Wayne Shaw"
-Sutton United's former ice cream man Wayne Shaw is happily in the spotlight
-Shaw was sacked by Sutton in December 2013 for butting a visiting supporter
-But he was re-signed to Paul Doswell's coaching staff and squad a year later
-20st stopper has been on the bench for four of Sutton's five FA Cup ties so far

Hope he comes on to save a last min penalty against Giroud. English football needs more characters like him.
