I don't think i am either, like last year i'm more interested in the fallout and what happens afterwards leading into the summer.

I'll know doubt watch it back and skip through the stuff i have zero interest in but live is looking unlikely atm.

Especially as staying up that late would probably kill me anyway, it's a shame because WM should be their best PPV of the year but again it's looking like an after thought to me.

Wrestlemania is like what 6 hours now? I'm not gonna watch from 4pm-10pm just to see Ambrose job in the pre-show, Reigns retire Taker, Cena in some total divas bs, and Bray jobbing to Orton.

I'm not surprised that SD's matches are crap, though. Apparently, HHH has been running SD for the most part since the brand split, but Vince is the one who is picking the Mania matches.

At least it's safe to say he rates AJ.

I still don't believe that btw, mainly because Meltzer has said repeatedly that Vince runs both shows.

He's just more likely to OK more stuff on Smackdown without his pet project.

Why wouldn't you believe it? The former writer who has been saying that called everything weeks ago before even Meltzer did. I think his word is pretty reliable tbh.

It'd explain why SD's weekly shows are quite good. Ryan Ward and HHH running it is the reason.

Deserving SD Stars robbed off spots in Mania - Ambrose possibly in Andre Battle Royal, SD Women in the Pre-Show - 47-51 year oldies ruling the card!

1 - Orton vs Wyatt - WWE Title

2 - Lesnar vs Goldberg

3 - Taker vs Reigns

4 - HHH vs Rollins

5 - Owens vs Jericho - Universal Title

6 - Cena/Nikki vs Miz/Maryse

7 - Charlotte vs Sasha Banks vs Bayley vs Nia Jax - Raw Women's Title

8 - AJ Styles vs Shane Mcmahon

9 - Andre the Giant Battle Royal - 30 Men over the top Battle Royal

(Strowman, Ambrose, Finn Balor, Corbin, Sami Zayn, Samoa Joe, Sheamus, Cesaro, Ziggler, Kofi Kingston, Big E, Xaiver Woods, Kane & others)

10 - Big Show vs Shaq (5 Minute Celeb Attraction)


You can't squeeze more in 5 Hours. There will also be backstage bits, big Entrances, Video packages, Former Legend segments with Rock, Stone Cold, HBK, etc HOF ceremony recap/appearance.


Pre-Show


1 - SD Women's Title - Naomi vs Becky vs Tamina vs Natalya vs Micky vs Bliss ( 6 Pack)

2 - Raw Tag Titles - Gallows/Anderson vs Enzo-Cass

3 - SD Tag Titles - American Alpha vs Usos

4 - CW Title - Neville vs Austin Aries ( or Fatal 4 Way vs Jack G vs Gran Metalik etc)


This is why they are taking New Day & Sheamus/Cesaro out of the Tag Title scene so that they can dump Gallows/Anderson Raw Title match to the Pre-Show & move New Day/Cesaro-Sheamus into the Battle Royal.

I hope Rollins doesn't get cleared & then we can have the SD Women in the Main Card who have been really good & deserve it way more than the Raw women.

Shame for Ambrose who wrestled 200+ matches a year, carried SD, made a feud with the jobber Ziggler memorable & is one the best mic workers with a strong character & is also a good in-ring worker.

Reigns/Rollins are getting marquee matches while Dean is nowhere (no matter how cushioned they try to make his fall with the IC Title & Blind-side ambush losses)


The Mania brand sells & doesn't need Goldberg/Shane to take away a spot from a deserving star in a very bloated Mania card.

(HHH vs Balor, Lesnar vs Strowman, Goldberg vs Styles, Shane vs Corbin etc)

should be in Raw/SD Exclusive (Smaller) PPV's which will create big stars out of these players when Goldberg/HHH put them over. It will also boost the sales of Smaller PPV's.

HHH is 47.
Shane is 47.
Undertaker is 51.
Goldberg is 50 .

These people should not be in the Wrestlemania card anymore.

We could have had easily dumped Shane & could have had Ambrose vs Styles for the IC Title.
(would have greatly elevated the IC title)

I just think it goes like this, the head writers pitch things to Vince and he says yes or no and he's more likely to OK things without Reigns on the show and the usual sponsors related decisions he makes on Raw.

I completely believe Vince is booking the matches for Mania, but i also believe he has been all along. It's just the writing team is better on Smackdown and he's more likely to allow more things than he would on Raw for the reasons i mentioned.

Where as with Mania he's completely ignoring them and doing it himself, basically the part of that i don't believe is that HHH has been running Smackdown and for WM season he isn't.

Doesn't make any sense to me, it's just Vince goes into full blown casual media mode for Mania.

Don't think HHH vs Rollins or Taker-Reigns can main-event

I think they may let Orton win with Harper screwing Wyatt to let the fans go happy. Or Vince will grow some balls & let a heel close Mania (which happens very less).

Lesnar and Goldberg is going to close IMO.

Not that it should but that's the feeling i get, Vince is obsessed with the world title closing a show and i don't see Bray and Orton getting that spot.

Although i'd prefer it, especially if Bray wins.

Shane shouldn't be there. Even Miz deserves a spot. Shane is past it, I love what he has done, was a huge supporter but look what happened in SS, the guy collapsed almost.

Cena vs Miz (No Nikki/Maryse BS) & Ambrose vs Styles (IC) is IMO the way to go.

Or Cena-Ambrose & Miz-Styles (Styles turns face) maybe.

If Goldberg-Lesnar closes, then they probably will have Goldberg beat Owens. Owens snaps, blames Jericho & attacks him setting Jericho vs Owens.

Then we could have Goldberg-Lesnar for the Universal Title closing the show. Reigns-Taker, HHH-Rollins come next & the WWE Title is the mid-card IMO!
