imagine danilo at cb actually working out. it would an ultimate show of defiance by zidane to the football gods..........that said, i don't want to see danilo anywhere near the center back spot

Real are big favorites now & Hummels is a huge loss. Boateng has poor heading abilities while Hummels is one of the best aerial CB's & would have been my candidate to mark Ramos with Martinez marking Ronaldo. I think now Martinez will mark Ramos (which is okay as Martinez is pretty good aerially too) but Boateng vs Ronaldo in aerial duels is going to be a freak show. Lewa will probably mark Benzema in set-pieces (I am mainly worried about headers with Real).

I would have taken Boateng vs Barca for his speed but Hummels' heading ability was to be critical vs Real ! Maybe if Ramos gets a yellow & Casemiro-Nacho is the pairing for the 2nd leg would Bayern have an advantage.

Actually, Lewandowski is a serious doubt now. Didn't train yesterday, broke off training after 20 minutes today.

Don't think he'll make it.

Won't watch. Easy win for us.

I think Bayern is going to trounce Real.

Too close to call. Leaning towards Madrid though I like Ancellotti.

Lewa is 50/50, he is desperate to play & may take pain killers, Robben said in the press conference that they will do everything to get Lewa to play. Otherwise Muller will also be fine for a CHL game, he will switch positions & make a nuisance in this type of game, Hope Lewa can play 1 half atleast.

Neuer is fully fit though. Should be a really good match !

I would've normally rooted for Bayern to win in this game but that would mean a nincompoop like Hans gets to rejoice so I am not so sure anymore

Although eradicating these two filthy el clasico teams before semis is great for the competition. Finally we would have something new to look forward to.

as much as I'd prefer to see Hans suffer, I'm thinking tonight will be a comprehensive victory for Bayern. 4-1 IMO.

Carlo doesn't want to take risks & Lewa will be fit for the 2nd leg. Muller will be fine & will give different tactical options but yea Lewa is in fantastic form.

I am still worried about the headers thing, Hummels was fantastic aerially & Lewa is also very good both in attacking & would have defended aerially.

I would certainly prefer Muller as a lone CF than Lewa. Need to ease my mind a little as Marcelo would be up against Robben and Nacho and Ramos would be our CB partnership.
